I’m having the same issue. What did you end up doing? Idk if I should head to the store and exchange itI just received mine yesterday (ordered online). I am going to check out the store to see if I can do an exchange. If they don't have anything better, should I return it, or settle for what I have? I'm not sure if I am being too picky.

Hope you get a better made exchange. I am now worried about my Damier Graphite one being delivered on Wednesday. Louis Vuitton should not be selling badly made products like this even if they are lower cost items.
I returned a mono key pouch. The stitching was all visible & holes enlarged all on the sides & bottom - as if someone had overstuffed it pulling all the stitching & enlarging the holes if you know what I mean?
Even though it was clearly brand new. The zip also did not run smooth at all.
I returned as defective & immediately was refunded. I did not & will not repurchase. Maybe to some this is normal & acceptable but I hated it & I’m not nit picky.
I did get a DA cles ordered the same time that was fine. I kept it.
I honestly think it’s the nature of how they are made, like having to be stitched then turned inside out. Easy to get it a little wrong & have pulling on the canvas etc. I prefer the types that are not made this way like the vernis.

I purchased two monogram key pouches, one for me and one for my mom. For a luxury company, I am highly disappointed by the craftsmanship. Each of their products should be made to perfection because it represents the brand. I understand that it is handmade and that it is subject to errors. But they should train their production staff to create higher quality products or have some sort of quality control.
I asked the SA if I can see a few more key pouches. All the stitching were like that. I’m keeping it because of the functionality but I wish it was better made. Hope this helps someone out there.

I agree. I just received a key pouch and while there is no light shining through and the canvas is generally lined up pretty well, the stitching is not perfect and is even crooked in some spots. Overall, it's a lot of money to spend on something you're not happy with. If you can live with it and it's functional for you, then great! If you feel like you're not getting your money's worth, I'd return.
I recieved mine today after very long time waiting for the cLes to be available, and we had the same problem, light seeing through all the way on the bottom, I’m thinking of going to the store to get an exchange if they have cles in stock, if they don’t I’m keeping mine bc I just love my cles even though she’s not perfect!
I have seen about 10 in Monogram and DE combined the past few weeks and they ALL looked about the same! So I think it will be hard to find them with the same quality as the preloved ones from the past. Sad.
The first one I bought a few years ago did not have the loose stitching so I knew they were not all like the 2nd one. I returned it, and once again have one that is well made. No light peeking through anywhere. Hopefully you will be able to find one that you’re happy with. Good luck.

Hello! Just restarting this thread again. After waiting around, I finally got my hands on a monogram key cles. As they only had one in stock I ordered it online immediately! I’m worried that the quality is bad and wondering if I should return it because of potential issues. I was not particularly looking out for these issues but they were so jarring I had to ask.
1. Bottom of sides of the pouch has wavy stitching
2. The end of the zip somehow has this rough area, I don’t know if that’s normal cuz I don’t have another key cles to compare with.
Please let me know if anyone can advice! Thanks

Mine had stitching issues on both corners and I was on the fence about it since it’s so cute! The SA kept saying that it’s normal and the ones the she sells are similar. I was looking at past posts, videos to decide whether to keep it. In the end I returned it because for me I know that I would keep looking at the corners and it would bother me. So up to you and if you’re not bothered by it then keep it.
I saw some big holes where the stitches are. Was it like this when you first received or did it happen after you used it?
I just received my key cles and it looks a bit similar to your but the holes aren't that bad so just wondering if they will get bigger after a while
