It doesn't scratch but over frequent use and if wallet is heavy the edges of the wallet will lift upward because of the constant pull of the chain.

Yeah, those are the only leathers I have seen as well. I'll ask when I make my way to New York in a few months, but still on the fence about which leather and then there's the color.

Hi
I wanted a kelly wallet for quiet a long time now and i have been searching everywhere for the right colour and leather. I have rang up my local Hermes store several times and got offered a epsom Rubis Kelly wallet with PHW and a goat skin orange with PHW but i gave them a pass because i found this Blue Jean Epsom kelly wallet with PHW from a reseller. Should i go a head and pay for Blue Jean or should i wait for a new seasonal color? what do you ladies think?

Blue Jean is always beautiful and a classic. I personally love BJ but do you love it? Since you passed up a couple great colors already and this is from a reseller and you sound unsure. Would you regret it if you gave it a pass?

Blue jean is such a beautiful color that can only come out from Hermes. LV does really nice red and Chanel does gorgeous black and pink sometimes but i cannot name a brand that makes a color as beautiful as blue jean. Rubis is also another gorgeous color but i think i would prefer blue jean from Hermes. Now that you asked me if i would regret if i give this one a pass, i would say i probably will. Your question has helped me towards making a final decision! I will go for this Blue Jean! :graucho: Thanks :D

Am glad I could be helpful. Sounds like you answered your own question. Somerimes it helps to think out loud. I have a few things in BJ and have not gotten tired of it so I understand your love for it. The other thing to remember is that a wallet is something you look, touch and feel almost everyday so it has to be something that you will be happy with every time you see it. Enjoy it if you buy it!

Can't wait to see your reveal of your new BJ wallet! H makes beautiful colors, blues in particular. BJ to me is the classic H blue. You can't go wrong.

Glad that you made the decision. I got mine a week ago, exactly the same as the one in the photo you posted, and I'm totally in love! Happy to be your twins!

My kelly wallet finally arrived! Loving the BJ color! I don't regret choosing blue jean over Rubis! Rubis is deffs a amazing color and i had hard time choosing between those two. But i have too many pinkish/ reddish color wallets so i decided to choose BJ. I can't wait till i use it! Thank you all for your kind advices!:roflmfao:
