I was in a similar boat as you a little while ago when I was going back and forth between red and blue. My last wallet was an LV red vernis which was such a happy bright red so I was a bit unsure if I should go with blue. So glad I did--it's a nice change and H blue is amazing! Enjoy!

I just dropped my 2 weeks old KW on a concrete sidewalk and the turn lock got badly scratched. It's hard to see in the photo but quite visible in person. Did this happen to any of you? Has anyone have experience with replacing a turn lock? I'll just use it for now but want to have a piece of mind that it can be replaced at a reasonable price... Thanks!

I think any Hermes will be able to help, good luck! Also, maybe check with jeweler stores? ...

Do you live close to one of the flagships like Madison? You can probably talk to Claude directly and ask. I once needed a quick zipper fix and they took care of it immediately with a small wait. This may not be a quick fix but you can avoid your SA this way.
Thank you for the info! I got this KW at the Madison ave though my "regular" store is KOP. I spend most weekends in NYC so it's easy to stop by. Thanks again!!
Forgot to mention that I'm sorry this happened. Bummer! Definitely a downside to the KW. Would love to know how much they charge to replace the turnlock. I too have had a bit of a small incident with my KW turnlock. I temporarily lost my wallet at a hotel recently. Luckily it was recovered unharmed and shipped back to me. The bummer part is that instead of using a FedEx box to ship they stuffed it in one of those FedEx envelopes. Well the turnlock got a bit bent from other packages pressed against it I guess or passing thru their system. It's not quite the same and still a bit bent after trying to fix it myself, but overall I'm happy to have my wallet back and feel fortunate so I'm going to try to not stress over it.

Oh sorry to hear about your incident but I'm glad you found your wallet! I think people sometimes have no idea how precious some of the items are...

I also decided not to stress over it and just enjoy the wallet. It sounds like turn lock can be replaced and I was lucky that it fell on the turn lock not on the leather.
I'll ask Claude or my SA at Madison next time I buy something there but it might not happen for a while since I'm trying to control my spending and spread it over time. I just bought K and KW so no store visit for a while...
