you really have to decide upon the style that you want first
then decide upon which size suits you best
after that you can ask if either of the bags you are considering match your criteria
from what you wrote on your other thread - although 40s might look best, they are going to be a bit large to lug around
if you decide upon a Birkin35 or Kelly40, neither of the bags are the ones for you - so walk away this time, however tempted you are
it is not the best idea just to choose between these very different bags
FWIW the distinctive A-line shape of the Kelly does look more like what would be associated with a lady's very stylish handbag in the smaller sizes - but that might be of no concern to you; the straight-sided tote style of the Birkin is more unisex

It is hard for me to imagine David Beckham to carry Kelly 35 next to his wife Victoria Beckham with the same bag. Hermes offer great bags designed for men. Of course, everyone can carry whatever he wants if feel comfortable.
