It really doesn't matter and honestly I think it's a shame when men feel they can't be honest w or in front of their wives especially about someone who they're in all reality never ever going to meet.

The conversation over Kate being pretty or not will never go anywhere bc there are always going to be ppl saying anyone who thinks she's not attractive, or any man who thinks she's not attractive is lying or not allowed to think so. Lol!! Ridiculous.

There is just nothing appealing about her to me or to my DH. We both prefer the look of Angelina Jolie.

I know lots of people who find her attractive and I totally get why many many men like her. I don't think she's much of a model but do think she is attractive in a "soft in the right places" pin-up sort of way.

Have to admit I don't get the hate though. It's may be puzzling how she's a successful model, but she's far from ugly.

Where I live, men are VERY picky about women and their figures. A lot of men do not like her body and will sit/discuss just like us women, lol. One of my good friends commented a few years back that Petra Nemcova was kind of chubby for a supermodel. You'd never guess, right? Not saying this out of jealousy (although I get the point that women might be more critical if guys swoon over a woman) but seriously, men are not as simple minded as we think. My bf thinks Kate is cute but prefers fit looking women.

Where I live, I've met quite a few men that didn't find Angelina Jolie attractive... They all said she looks either unnatural or alien-ish. What men define as beautiful is probably a cultural thing...

I'm so surprised that she's so polarizing, lol!

Isn't the same true about most people? I think X is beautiful, you think she's not special but find Y beautiful.
But why so polarizing? KWIM?
I don't personally find her so pretty. At all actually :-s But I do love that she's not the usual waify model. I like to see women in different shapes and sizes :)

Looking at some of these pictures she looks like a blonde Lucy Hale.

I've had people tell me I look like Kate and seeing some of the nasty things written in this thread (over the course of the ENTIRE thread) I feel like that is not a compliment hah.

I think she's pretty. In terms of supermodel ... I find most models kind of bleh .. so I don't really have anything to add in regards to that.

Label anyone who doesn't find her attractive as jealous? Who did that exactly? All I said was that some women get insecure around and are intimidated by women who are considered hot by men. I don't think I said anything particularly ground breaking, I think that's always been the case, surely we all know some of those women, I know I do. But not one man you know finds Kate Upton attractive so none of this applies to her anyway. Yeah okay :rolleyes:
