Like 95% of my jewelry is self-bought. I make my own money, so I don't see why I'd need to bug my husband to get something for me. I even purchased my own Cartier Love cuff. *shrug*

Oh definitely! I love buying fine jewelry for myself. I don't have the patience to wait for a piece to be gifted to me lol. However, most of my expensive pieces were gifted to me from immediate family and in-laws for my wedding.

I do, all the time. He buys me pieces too, but generally, it's me sending him a few links of what I want and I'll let him pick something from that.
This Christmas he did good all on his own. Got me Tiff atlas key to tie in my atlas and key pieces. I was very proud of him.

I'm single, so my cats buy my jewelry for me. Sometimes, they keep it.

This is such a precious picture! I have bought some of my own, picked out pieces that were bought for me as a present, and I think I enjoy both. I like the element of surprise but some things have definitely been off the mark. Nothing felt quite as special as picking out my Tiffany charm and choosing my own engraving (gift to myself for a big, important milestone)
