Yes, I buy my own jewelry. Even anniversary presents. My taste is very exacting and DH has no patience for that kind of stuff. So, I just tell DH that he got me something lovely. Over the years, it's worked out well.

Hi! All the jewelry I have, and there are some seriously priced pieces, were purchased by me. I think in a modern world it does not matter anymore if its a gift. All the jewelry I got as a present -I didn't like it much, so it was remade into another jewelry or simply sold on ebay (yes, I am not sentimental)

All the time, my husband buys me sentimental gifts he doesnt even bother getting me jewelry cause its expensive and he rather I pick what I want instead of dropping cash on something I don't. This September was my 30th bday and he got me a 24kt golden rose
