I think so. I work in a more formal office and there’s Neverfulls and Les Pliages as far as the eye can see. I would not consider this to be very informal in comparison.
my Londoner friend working for an international corp. uses an Hermès GP as an office bag and that one looks more casual than this, so I think this can be an office bag.
Yes, with or without a charm. I’m usually not a bag charm kind of gal, but I think it gives this bag a little something — especially because the side buckles are the only hardware.
One thing to remember — the Lectoure base is not structured. I don’t know if that matters in your decision making.
I think im becoming a fan of joseph duclos bags. Thinking of acquiring these lesser known brands because of too many fakes on known brands.

I think the next few bags I purchase will be from JDbetween the product quality and customer service they’re wonderful.
I know people find the Diane style to be formal looking but the black/PHW gives me vampire-gothic vibesMy style is casual and so far the bag is working well for me.

Just learned about this brand last night. I placed an order for the 20cm Diane in Slate this afternoon. Should get it before the end of June!
Just a FYI, if the bag you want is out of stock, try their chat feature on the website. The website wouldn’t let me checkout this bag because it was out of stock. I reached out on the chat feature. I got an email about 20 min later from their Digital Manager, Lumina. She provided me with a pre-order link and I was able to checkout. Delivery, of course, will be a few months.
I’m wondering if I should have ordered one of the passementerie straps but I think I’ll wait until I receive my bag.
Looking forward to see what Ramesh does with this new brand!

I’m saving up for retirement as well with my regular salary. I’m afraid of ending up as a childless, homeless, octogenarian using a chanel classic flap as my ratpillow. During covid I actually got a whole 2nd job (about 15 hours a week) to fund shopping/trips and spend that part of my income with impunity. Since covid, I just don’t go out much and I‘m taking advantage of the extra energy I have now to work. I know I won’t have the energy in a few years.
But yes, I will post in a few months!
