I am going to Paris this winter for my birthday and while I was going to try to get a spot in the H lottery and get an H bag, I am really feeling like a JD bag is the way to go. I love my H bags, but the JD bags just feel like they are so special. I visited the Moynat Saint-Honore store in 2014, when Ramesh was in charge, and it was so lovely and the bags and other items were beautiful. I am currently using the wallet I got on that trip. No matter what, I will be coming home with a JD item! Thank you all for all the great information on this thread, it's been so amazing to learn about this brand.

Oh I'm jealous please enjoy! I was there last summer and made the conscious decision not to do the H thing. I was feeling like I am "good thanks" with my current collection of H bags and wanted to try some new things.
As you can see from my avatar my JD experience was quite successful! I'm hoping to get over this winter, and if so another JD bag and possibly one of those amazing straps are definitely on my list. The boutique experience is quite special as well.
Tried on the Saint Clair clutch. Fits keys, card case, iphone (with no case). It also fit my samsung note 10 (no case).
Oh no! Lol you cannot pit Moreau against Duclos lol that's a sin! Maybe yes with Goyard, but Duclos is definitely waaaaaaaay above those 2 brands!

I am worried the Fontelie bag is too big as a crossbody on those of us who are small. Would love to see it on someone who is 5'3" and average sized (asking for a friend...LOL). I am looking forward to seeing all the bags in person this winter.Thank you for sharing the photo.

Omg, my Diane got here early! When I tell you the beauty of this bag just gobsmacked me... It is stunning. The color is so rich and the leather feels amazing. The quality is insane. Even my husband said it might be his favorite.

Thank you! Yes, the color is so interesting. It photographs almost purple, but is a deep royal blue bordering on navy in indoor lighting. It’s darker in person than in the pictures on the website and I’m very happy with that!
