yeah it looks like they reworked the L15 proportions. the previous one is probably not selling much because it looks weird. this looks more like a decent mini bag.
For people in the NYC area, from the WWD and JD IG pages it seems that the new Printemps store at 1 Wall Street will carry Duclos items.
The L15 wont fit a standard phone. I like the shape of this though, the same way that i prefer the Chanel mini square vs the mini rectangle. Im 5ft 2.
I want to get the L20 in black heritage leather w silver hardware. I think i can slay wearing it with a black leather jacket or a monotone black outfit. 😍
These bags are absolutely gorgeous. Very well made. But a bit of warning, they can be heavy esp the bigger the bag gets.

I bought and will only buy in person. The people there are really nice.

Hi! I’m new to Joseph Duclos, but I went into Printemps after Pilates to check it out and the Diane clutch caught my eye. The navy blue contrast lining with the red is such a lovely nod to France. I was really impressed by the quality and workmanship so it was a bit of an impulse buy for me, but no regrets!

Apparently the hardware is also 24ct gold plated. It was the display piece though, as apparently it’s the only red clutch in the US. The rep was quite knowledgeable, too. They’re inviting me to the upcoming trunk show, so I will share more details.
My only complaint is that the checkout experience at Printemps left a bit to be desired — typical Nordstrom/saks department store feel — they just put it in the JD box and then shoved the box into a flimsy Printemps paper bag. No ribbon, samples, or even care instructions as I’ve seen some people here get when they order directly.

Hi everyone! I conditioned my Diane Messenger today with Apple leather conditioner and wow! What a difference!! This is in Heritage leather and I have had it for a little over 1 year.
I don’t “baby” my bags, but I do treat them with care. Even so, the front of the bag really looked like it took a beating. I’m happy so far with how the leather is wearing and starting to develop a nice patina and it looks great with a little conditioning!
