I went to the website because of the post above about a Diane L26 and it seems that JD has some sort of, I don't know what to call it, vetting process perhaps? when buying a Diane L26 in Heritage Leather.
Because it says it's Available, but then the button doesn't say Add to Cart. It says this:

And then when you click on it there's like an onboarding process? Like what?

So, uhm, maybe they have experienced a lot of returns from online purchases because the leather scratches a lot? I don't know.
Because some bags have Add to Cart or Pre-order, like this:
