Congrats on such a beauty! The diamond looks like it is sitting too far away from the base of the prongs. I would have the diamond sit lower. Let us know what you do and of course post pics!

YES!! I love how low the last one is set...I also love the detail in the first pic. My diamond was set low after lots of work!! Meaning I had to have alot of wax setting made to insure it was what I wanted. I just love your stone Swanky..Merry Xmas!

OOO,Thanks for that Swanky,my DH is gettin a bit p****d off as he thinks I spend too much time on here!!! He's finished work for the holidays,and says that I'm not spending enough time talking to him,well far as I see it he's usually wanting to watch football and does'nt say a whole lot!!! Anyways,not really had time to hunt about so thank you for finding me a couple,and wow they are beautiful!!! The workmanship is exquisite!!! Its the top photo that shows the underrail or under bezel I was talking about,obviously with one of those there the whole claw,or prong as you US ladies say,can be finer fom base to tip,and imo are much more elegant,and really show the stone off so wonderfully!!!
The other good thing about this type of setting is if you wanted to wear an eternity ring with it,it will be able to sit a little more flush with youre e/ring,just by snugging under your main stone a bit. Gorgeous,absolutley gorgeous!!! I am getting a really good mental pic of that.......................ooooooooooooo!!!!!!!!:heart:

Swanky,have just managed to sneek a quick look round the link you posted O.M.G!!!!!! His stuff is just incredible!!! Us brits never really go for that sort of thing,very boring in that dept,and its a bloody shame!
But his stuff is not over the top imo,I just know after selling to british ladies so long its a case of plainer the better,usually!!! I hasten to add before I get lots of angry Brit ladies posting!! There is a pair of earring settings in there that are just to die for!!! You know what,if he caught on over here people would pay through the nose to have some of his settings,and as much for the kudos as the beautiful workmanship.

I bet he's expensive,but absolutely worth every penny!!! I love how he uses old cuts too,but then I would would'nt I ?? lol!!!!
And I noticed an M colored stone,it was beautiful,that should be a bit of a lesson to color snobs,look before you pass judgement--stunning!!!
