After reading that the Buroughs are showing up in outlets, I would have told them to give me a merchandise credit. I'd rather put the money toward other bags than to wait that long for another b, especially on the good chance you can get one at an outlet for 50/10 less now.

Is it positive the Borough is being sold in outlets? I was told by a Coach SA the Borough would not go to the outlet. If, in fact, they are going to outlets it seems more than ridiculous to pay full price for anything in the Coach stores.

I agree with all of you. It bothered me so much, I said, "Screw it. I'm calling them again." So I did today and was very honest and forthright about everything I've vented about here (outlet discounts on boroughs now, waiting 4-6 weeks for my 'repaired' borough that I paid full price for, etc etc). They were surprised the boroughs had hit the outlets, because they said as SAs, they still weren't allowed to buy them!
Anyway, my SA told me to come on in and pick out something else, which I did...and I'm very pleased. I'll do a reveal asap. I'm so glad I spoke up, and I want to thank you folks for giving me the guts to! :)

Yes. You can even see receipts in the burough thread where women are buying them at that discount. What a kick in the teeth, huh?

CoachCruiser, I am THRILLED to hear that you are happy with the resolution and that you stood up for yourself!! I'm also very happy that the SAs didn't give you any BS about it being too late.

Sorry about the trouble you're having. Hopefully you get it straightened out.

As a side note - SAs can buy them. They just have to pay FP. At least that's what my SA told me.

LOL, wow, Coach IS inconsistent. Yikes. But I can't complain about my SA; she was seriously a champ about my issue when I called her back this morning. As she put it bluntly, and honestly, AND sweetly (I've known her for years), "Hey, it really is your money - not mine." Amen, sister! :)
