Is this a defect, is this normal for this Chanel item?

Dear fellow coconistas, I‘m asking for your help regarding the small o case I purchased today in Hamburg, Germany.

Despite being well aware about the rather lackluster quality control at Chanel over the past 15 years or so and being prepared to meticulously inspect the pouch at the boutique, I was in a hurry today and somehow oversaw the off center placement of the gold CC logo. I even asked my SA whether she can see anything being off with it, but she just acted slightly annoyed so I just made the purchase and ran with it.

The thing is that I bought the last o case in my boutique and I really want to have one. However, it kind of bothers me that the one and only main feature of the creation is not executed properly. It‘s not the most expensive item (for Chanel) and it is going to be seen and handled primarily by myself, but still I‘m preoccupied by it 😔

What do you guys think - should I message my SA about trying to get another pouch from another boutique/European city or just let it be and try to enjoy the imperfection as a philosophical representation of life and its merits 🥸🤔🍷? My friends and family are 50/50 on that and generally don‘t care about Chanel and anything related. What are your experiences and general thoughts on such issues?

Also: shouldn‘t there be a tiny CC logo on one end of the zipper? Or is it just with some collections and if so, which ones exactly?

Thanks a lot! 🖤💛

This is a new to me bag, but it was sold as new, never been carried.

I just noticed the leather on the strap isn’t glued down, it occurs on most of the strap that I can tell. My other CF is tightly secured. Is this anything to be concerned about?

Yes, turn lock is to loosen. Won’t stay locked and opening up constantly by itself. Photo won’t show nothing in this case. Chanel service didn’t do nothing as well! I did sent them and they returned it same. Very disappointed.

I had this issue a few years ago (4 years ago I think) on my Single Maxi Flap. I brought it to my Chanel boutique for repair. They send it to Paris(they changed the turn lock closure). It took 1 or2 months (can't remember) and they charged me 70 Euro for it. This can happen over time on older bags.....

Thank you.
I took it to our local Chanel store. They returned it without charging nothing and didn’t change nothing. Maybe I should specify that I need lock change?

Hello, just got a Chanel from the boutique about a week ago, and every time I set it down, the chain kinks; one gold loop twists sideways and stays that way when I pick it back up. If I set it down without straightening out the kink (takes about a minute), it kinks in three other random places. I'm worried that if I don't straighten it out and if set it down several times while I'm out, that it will get worse, so I haven't worn it out yet and am considering returning it. I have another Chanel from the boutique, and the chain never kinks. I mean, I've carried my other one a lot and it has never kinked (it's a WOC, though). So I can't tell if this is normal (?) Can you help me out? Should I return it? I wouldn't have bought it if I knew I would have to constantly straighten the chain out, but I might keep it if it's normal
