Is this a defect, is this normal for this Chanel item?

Saw this vanity case (24A) in store with the serial number printed on a piece of paper that's taped to the inside of the bag with just sticker.
1. Is this a normal thing for vanity cases? I thought there would be something more substantial than a paper and tape that could easily fall off over time.
2. Shouldn't there a microchip inside a vanity case? If so, how can I find it.
3. If there's no microchip, shouldn't there be an authenticity card with the bag or something else that proves your purchase is authentic?

They suggested applying leather conditioner to remove the scuffs. If you know anything about that, would it be sufficient to remove these marks?
Hi @bagista_ Chanel Vanity cases are considered SLGs so it would have the Chanel serial code sticker instead of the Chanel metal plate. Chanel discontinued the auth card for their SLGs a couple of years ago (I think around 2022).
Hi all I just got this top handle mini in the mail from Saks Chanel and noticed a little thread fraying in the corner of the flap. There is also a tiny scratch on the Turnlock hardware and the protective cover missing that I’m willing to overlook since the bag is hard to find and this was the only one they had in stock but is this something that could worsen?

Mine crease also when opened like that. Goes back to normal when closed. Haven't seen otherwise.
Iv got a black a too, and it doesn't crease like this . Such a pretty bag. So sad to pass it.
I just checked mine because I never seemed to notice but they do wrinkle, my pink slightly more than my blue/gray. They look fine when closed.
If it wrinkles when closed, I’d select another. The leather has to go somewhere when opened all the way, so they’re expected to wrinkle some when open imo.
