I understand. My rose beige was purchased many years ago. I think the price was $890 at that time or something like that. Red I bought on sale at Saks for even less than that but finding a sale is tough. It’s a small bag. Useful, practical but I understand your concern.

just not sure why the little bags now are getting priced so high up....I was also eyeing the Goyard belvedere 2 but after reading some quality issues now I'm not even sure what crossbody to get.

My black Gucci soho is my everyday bag and I love it. I’ve had it for two years (purchased Oct 2016). I purchased it when it was <$900 if I remember correctly...with the current price though (almost $1200), I am not sure I would buy it.

I went into the ala moana store located in Honolulu yesterday. Price of the disco was $890. I almost purchased. Going back today to look again. I'm not into Gucci, I have been an LV girl for years. I want to start building a more diverse collection with other designers classics. The SA told me that when the new designer took over they removed all the old designs but had to keep the disco bc it was so popular but that it will slowly start to disappear in the coming year. I think it's timeless and classics and want a black one. Hope thay helps.

Wow! What a great price! I would buy it! I just recently purchased the red one and paid $1,190 plus tax! I’ve always wanted it in red. Glad I decided to finally buy it.

I'm now in the fence again. I went to LV and visited my SA, who is one of my favorite people. She showed me a couple new items they just got. She told me to wait to buy anything until I'm there in February full time. A couple cross body bags caught my eye and she was like you have too many wait lol. So after talking to her about just LV bags she told me to enjoy my bags for a while before buying anything new. I just picked up two lol. So the second time in two days I was talked out of purchases. The other at Hermès on a crossbody and the nicest SA told me it would always be around enjoy my new LV lol. The LV is limited and a runway piece.

No. Still deciding. The price is holding me back. I can't decide between the black disco and the YSL camera bag or Loulou.

If it helps, I had the disco and I sold it because I bought the Marmont in a similar color (disco in rose beige, Marmont in taupe). Kicking myself now because I still would have used the disco as they aren’t as similar as I thought.
I also have a Loulou (Small) and a YSL camera bag.
The YSL camera bag doesn’t seem as well-made as the disco, maybe because it’s croc print and patent white. And it’s more narrow than the disco and I feel like the zipper is an even bigger pain. Overall it feels like a “cheap bag” (and I guess in YSL standards it is). I would go for the disco over the camera bag IMO.
...Now I love my small velvet loulou a lot. It’s bigger than the disco but still lightweight and has a compartmentalized interior which is good if you like being organized. That said the drawback is that it’s not as comfortable to wear crossbody as the disco. I can’t speak for the leather quality since it’s velvet but I did have a medium loulou and while the melatasse leather was nice I did find it creased a lot.
Hope this helps!

Actually I noticed that the YSL camera bag’s quality isn’t as high as the loulou (I have the medium) but couldn’t compare it with the disco because I don’t have it. Thanks for the feedback — I think I should check out the disco in person! The small loulou is nice but the price is so high compared with the camera bag.

Thanks again!
