I have the Gucci disco and love it. BUT, if I’d seen the YSL camera bag (black bag, black hardware) first, no doubt I would have chosen the YSL!! Its beautifulNo. Still deciding.
I have several YSL bags and have never had any quality issues.
I bought a Black Disco over the summer. I love it so much. The leather is soft, squishy, and very durable. I just bought it in Red because it’s literally the perfect red color. I think it’s worth the price.
My personal opinion (don’t know if changes anything for you) but I think it’s never too late for the disco. I have so many different brands and I think the disco is a keeper. Great ... great bag. I got the beige and the black. And i am glad I got them. Amazing quality and fits tons.
I had mine when Neiman Marcus still let you use coupon codes on it and before the price increase so I got it for around $800. It's a great bag but I don't think I'd pay the current price for it. Plus, it doesn't retain its structure very well over the years which may be a problem for some.
I recently purchased mine in this color. Really lovely for this time of year and I have been loving it so far. I don't think it's too late at all!
Yours is definitely holding up well for 4 years. I used mine almost religiously for a year before selling it and it was still holding its shape but the top would cave in if it wasn't full.
I was VERY late to the Soho Disco game sadly. Last summer I bought my first disco in BLACK. Then this January, I had to have the red because it’s the perfect RED and I just bought the CAMELIA BEIGE last week because it will serve me well this summer. I don’t think this bag will ever go out of style. It’s perfect in its weight, color, leather softness, leather durability, and functionality. [emoji173]️[emoji173]️
I bought it in black today. They said there will be a price increase in a few weeks. Not sure if it's true.

I love my discos. I wish they would come back with more colors. I have a taupe, Black patent leather, purple and black guccissima.

thinking of repurchasing the soho disco as the pebbled leather on this one was SO durable and easy wearing
