Is the Damier Azur too hard to keep clean?

I was thinking the same thing.
I got an azur multicles and I use it absolutely EVERYDAY since my boyfriend got it for me for my birthday this May...

and now...It's so dirty because of 1) the keys inside and 2) because I toss it in my bag... :(

I hope this babywipe trick works; I just don't want to baby it all the time because I want to use it everyday!

my wallet has accumulated some stains.
its barely noticable unless you inspect very really hard.
i tried taking pics for this thread but they come out perfectly clean.

I've had my azur Noe since 2007, no problem with it so far. I was considering the getting "dirty" easily issue that's why i got the shoulder bag version. The azur Speedy IMHO is the cutest Speedy of LV. Just enjoy the bag, any stain or scuff are marks of a well loved well used bag. :D

my damier azur bags are pretty dirty.. mostly from blue jeans. when i got them i used to be very careful and not let them rub against my jeans, but i just stopped caring.. lol. don't carry them anymore anyways.. but they ARE cute. you can get them cleaned professionally.

Buying an Azur is worth the risk if you ask me! Nothing in life is perfect & even the Damier Speedies run the risk of peeling handles! The more you use any item the more you run the risks of having something happen to it. We buy bags to use not bury in the back of the closet so buy what you love, use it & enjoy!

yes, you're right!

ohh.... I love damier...

I've been using my azur a whole lot lately. Not any bad problems, but I haven't been babying, so I'm seeing some wear. I have had her since 06 though, so that's not too bad. She could use a good baby wipe.....

Hello I am fairly new to this,

I recently purchased a Louis Vuitton Pouch
in Damier Azur
unfortunately I noticed that i have some Jean-dye transfer around it.
So i went and bought this Leather Cleaner from Spring as someone else had recommended it for me but now
it didnt really get rid of the die, and its made my pouch rather shiny, and a bit darker

what can i do to
a) get rid of the jean dye stains
b) make it less yellow

Welcome to TPF!! I'm sorry this happened to your new Azur Pochette. Is the stain on the Damier pattern canvas? I would first try to clean with "alcohol free baby-wipes" or Huggies, you find them in the department where diapers and things for babies are. Good luck and post how it turns out

Do you regret buying LV in Azur? Is it too much hassle to keep your bag clean?

I want to buy Galliera and can't decide between Mono and Azur. On one hand the Azur Galliera is gorgeous, but I am afraid it will get dirty easily. The Mono Galliera is more practical, but I think it might be too flashy.

So, how is your Azur bag holding up? How often do you use it?

I don't have an Azur Galliera, but is an owner of an Azur Speedy for almost 3 years. I do not regret having her at all, for me, she's not that hard to take care off. Azur in my opinion is more pretty when they patina comparing to Monogram. Just try to avoid wearing dark jeans with Azur bags and you will be fine. I like the Azur prints a lot that I'm planning on getting an azur neverfuLl also right now. Still deciding between Azur Galliera and Neverfull also

I've carried my Azur Speedy almost continuously for nearly two years and its fine! I would be wary of having a shoulder Azur bag though, I think as they rub up against clothing much more than a Speedy you will much more chance of marks and color transfer.
