iPhone 3G won't fit in Damier Graphite iPhone Case?!

Join the club Kenzo- I have been pissed ever since I found out that the Porte Documents bag in Graphite is smaller than the PD that came out last year. 2 inches in fact. My laptop won't fit. I had been waiting for this item since Feb 2007 when I first laid eyes on it.
Anyhow, about the iPhone case. If you own the 3g, it will not fit. It is not possible to "stretch" the case as it just doesn't fit. I own the 3g and the SA allowed me to attempt to stuff it in there and it didn't work. You would think that LV would have reached out to the folks at Apple to confirm measurements. Perhaps they have, I don't know. It is a bummer.
As noted on the website (in poor grammer), the 3g iPhone will not fit the case.

I just bought my laptop last October, an powerful HP. MACbook air is too slooow for my line of work.
I am upset but getting over it.

I picked up my Damier Graphite iPhone case on Tuesday and I can confirm that it does fit the 3G iPhone perfectly. Staff @ LV also said that the Damier Graphite iPhone case is made to fit the new 3G iPhone.
I also have the Monogramoflauge iPhone case and it was a very tight fit. After using it continuously I have stretched it and it is now also great for the new iPhone.

. I have been using mine for the last week and it has been perfect since day one.
I know that LV got a memo advising all SA's to disclose that the camo case will not fit the new 3G iPhone.
