Here's a close up of the diary notebook in penny! The embroidery makes me smile. This notebook is for my tote; so I can write down important thoughts wherever I am.

I love it!

I keep finding myself looking at the green mini Lillie with embroidery. I always liked that style, reminds me of a couple LV bags and I don’t have a bright green bag! Maybe if I can catch it on clearance.

I love this notebook  — thanks for the close up. It is so sweet and cheerful. I am glad you found this pretty notebook for your daily tote.

Thanks TO . I really adore this little mascot. I used to wear scarves a lot to accessorize my suits during my corporate days years ago. I don’t wear them too much now except on my bags.
Thank you! I just realized I forgot to warn you. I'm sorry about the butterfly, IM! ;)

Your scarf and cute mascot will be a beautiful and fun addition to your bags! :)
Love that butterfly!
That's my favorite too!
I love this! It’s so pretty, TO. Now, should I buy another one? I am addicted to school supplies like notebooks and pens and markers.
Thank you, ML. :) I'm addicted too! :amuse: Your notebook is beautiful! Don't get another one unless you will use it. If you will use it, then I can recommend it. The leather is nice and flexible. The pattern makes me smile! I can say that about yours too. I've been wanting one since I saw yours; so I'm happy to have one finally.

I hope you find the green one on clearance. That green looks really beautiful! I can just imagine how good it looks in person.

Remodeling is stressful! I'm a failure at picking paint colors. The paint doesn't look anything like the swatches. The first paint I picked for the kitchen was called gardenia. It looks like a creamy white in the swatch but on the wall it looks like pancake batter, very yellow. I had them paint over it with a rosy beige. It's better but DH says it looks pink. I didn't want white because I want there to be some contrast between it and the white ceiling and baseboards.

DH wanted the laundry room to be yellow like it was before. I picked out a good color but he said it didn't look yellow so I picked the brightest yellow they had and now the room is practically neon! At least it looks cheery!

We are supposed to get the cabinets on Thursday. I'm worried I'll be disappointed.

DH asked the painter to repaint the master bathroom, including the cabinets. He won't let me replace the floor, which I hate.

The idea of picking out paint colors and the like makes me so anxious. And it never looks as it does in the little paint swatches that you paint on. I wish I had an eye for that type of thing. Everything in our house is blue, white, and beige except for the kids rooms.

That’s good advice, TO. I don’t really need it, although I do love this kind of stuff. I’m embarrassed by the number of stickers, notebooks, pens, pencils, markers, and a huge eraser collection I have. But the Cuties are amused and love to “help” me use all my stuff. Right now they are going through all of my stickers.

I love mine and I love yours, too. The leather and design is really cute and colourful. It’s very inspiring and uplifting. I love looking at mine and the design. It’s just so pretty. This Fall, I’m going to look for a school agenda insert instead of the notebook. I use my agenda constantly so it would increase the function even more.

I like the Lillie style but I only want one in leather. Most come in crossgrain leather which I won’t find squishy enough.

The green Lillie is so charming! I like it, too. But I know myself, and I need a black, navy or saddle bag to really use it. I don’t wear colourful bags very often.

I have a stockpile of stickers! They are probably getting so old they will lose their stickiness. I should find someone young to give them to.

I understand how stressful remodelling and renovations can be. Every decision is worth thousands of dollars and it’s a never-ending process of self-doubt. It’s hard.

I also find paint colours difficult. It never looks like it’s supposed to! It’s better for me to see the colour on other peoples’ walls first and then go on to make my own decisions. I’m glad your laundry room is cheerful! That’s fun.

Try not to worry about your cabinets. Once they up and the hardware is on, hopefully they will at least be liveable for you and DH. You may end up loving them the most!

I survived dry January. Unfortunately, it wasn’t by choice. I tripped over one of the baby’s toys and broke my ankle. So money I envisioned being spent on bags and SLGs went to medical bills. How about you guys?
I’m so sorry, Chiichan. Do you have a cast and crutches?

I have not had a dry January. One cute red backpack, a Valentine’s themed notebook and Nolita 19, and a watch have been added to my stash.

If not someone young, maybe the Primary teachers at your local school? I use a lot of stickers on my students work, but I also give them stickers to decorate their little books, drawings and creations that they make during Centre Time. I find peeling off stickers is a good “pinching” activity to help the Cuties develop a stronger pencil grip.

It can be hard to find the right color tone. I often have to look at as many images online as I can of a color to see how it reads in a room. Good luck!

Sorry to hear about your broken ankle :(. Speedy recovery to you. No new bag for me (going strong for 6 weeks now ). I bet all your kiddies are growing up so fast. Good to see you C :)
