I've gone almost two months! The last purchase I kept was December 1st.I like my Chaise bags. Just saw that they have a new version out with a removable and adjustable strap. Not buying thoughsince I am trying to go 6 months (with the exception of a fun shearling bag). It’s the last day of January so many/some of us have survived one month of bag ban — woohoo

When I was in the Marines. I was the admin, so I had the training/test scores. It was time for yearly reviews.
Sergeant: MyLastName, do we use the most recent PFT (physical fitness test) scores?
Me (perfectly straight face and normal tone of voice): No, Sergeant. We use the scores from two years ago. (Look back at my computer screen and continue typing.)
My Staff Sergeant, sitting at his desk several feet away, about choked on the food he was eating.
Sergeant: Email me my people's scores.
Me: Yes, Sergeant.
Technically, since he outranked me, Sergeant could have gone to the Gunny (Boss) and complained I was being insubordinate. But I knew if he did that Gunny would ask for details. When Sergeant explained, Gunny would say, "Ask a stupid question, expect a stupid answer." Sergeant knew it too, and didn't go tattle on me. He also never asked me a dumb question again.
