That's OK though. If my IRL were into bags like I would get in so much more trouble hanging out with them shopping together! However, it would be nice to have at least one person to do that with.

Happy New Year! I’ve already broken our ban.It’s not even lunch yet. Look what arrived last night (had to get it this morning from the neighbour as we were out with our family last night).

It’s the Pennie 22 backpack in 1941 Red. I’ve never carried a backpack ever but I love the colour. It was a really good deal ($179 CAN) so I could not stop myself. This is my second red bag. I also own the Lunar New Year Callie.

I love all the reds! Technically it’s not broken since it was from last year (yesterday) lol
I have to agree about the unlined versions. I don’t like the feel of it. I have a vintage Willis and the lining stops me from wanting to use it. I liked the newer version of the Willis a lot, especially in the green.
Hi Iam, thank you, it is a very cute backpack. I don’t think the straps are convertible. I was wearing it around the house and it’s quite comfortable. I love the leather quality and the colour. It’s very roomy inside with the zipper pocket and one slip pocket. Plus the outside pocket. I don’t know exactly how much use I’ll get from it, but I do know that every now and then I think to myself, I wish I had a backpack!
I love the By the Pool collection (wish I had bought something but oh well, maybe the next collection). I did not wish to start with an expensive backpack before I gave this little one a try.

I was selfishly hoping all these restrictions would be over by the time she turned 2 so I would haven’t to make her wear masks. But it looks like she’s going to have to. She seems interested in them, but not to wear for longer than a few mins.Cheers to a new bag free start to 2022

Yeah, she sees us wearing them all the time, but she doesn’t get that it’s something she will have to do.

Hi Chiichan, I’m so glad to hear about your big kids are back at school. They need to be with their teachers and friends and doing “school stuff.” I see that everyday in my Kindergarten. Gosh, your Tiny is so young still, it’s hard for us to imagine the very little ones wearing a mask. But I know with the good modelling your family is doing wearing a mask, your wee one will do so. And I think a few minutes at 2 years old is remarkable! I continue to be amazed and delighted with the resilience of the young. I see it at everyday at school so I know it for a fact!
You’re not being selfish at all; I believe every parent wishes that things were different. I do and my kids are in their 20s! I can’t help but think their young adulthood is passing by.
