I will you use old cut up t-shirts, old socks (great for putting on your hand for cleaning ceiling fan blades). I do have a microfiber cloth I use for glass and mirrors (no lint) and I recently bought a 2 pack of microfiber cloths for dusting off some of my metal furniture (loves to hold onto dust! Boo), along with Pledge. Was hoping it would help prolong it getting dusty, that black metal can be a beast for collecting dust. So far it has been better.
I haven't tried Norwex and wondered about them. Microfiber cloths are my favorite for cleaning and wiping up messes, but I go through a lot of them in a day; so I need to have a little stack of them. I have a couple of samples of the "as seen on TV" kind, but most are basic ones from amazon. There is a little bit of difference, but they all work really well. I have a mix of colors; so different ones get used in the kitchen/bath. I wash them with regular towels and usually don't have a problem with lint. I do use a light cleaning spray since I mainly use them for wiping surfaces, like counters. I spray the surface with cleaner and then wipe with the dry cloth. I only wet the microfiber for dusting. They are great when liquids spill! I also have a few bar cloths and the burp cloth diapers that are great too. We have napkins from etsy made of that wonderful diaper fabric.
See look how creative we can all be, and it is cheap, lol! I like my new microfiber cloths, and am glad I realized those were enough and I could cancel my other order. I think doing what I have been doing and adding these to the mix will be fine.Cloth diapers are the best for cleaning! I also use old towels and old tee shirts.
Cancelling the order proved why I don't want to buy through those things that you have to buy through a person. She avoided doing the cancellation so I did it, and then had to ask her to confirm she could see that it had been cancelled as they wouldn't send me the email confirmation. Then get this--she contacts the person that had the party and must have made it sound like I had some major thing going on (I had said I had unexpected expenses and also that I realized I only wanted one of the products in the set therefore wanted to cancel until the one item was available later on). So the person that had the party texts and messages me to ask if I am okay (without saying anything else). I said yes? And she goes on to say that the person contacted her and she just wanted to make sure I was okay, and that it wasn't about the products, just that she hoped all was okay. I mean, I appreciate the concern, but all of that worry over me cancelling an order? lol I can't do this kind of stuff. It is too much.
