I will you use old cut up t-shirts, old socks (great for putting on your hand for cleaning ceiling fan blades). I do have a microfiber cloth I use for glass and mirrors (no lint) and I recently bought a 2 pack of microfiber cloths for dusting off some of my metal furniture (loves to hold onto dust! Boo), along with Pledge. Was hoping it would help prolong it getting dusty, that black metal can be a beast for collecting dust. So far it has been better.
I haven't tried Norwex and wondered about them. Microfiber cloths are my favorite for cleaning and wiping up messes, but I go through a lot of them in a day; so I need to have a little stack of them. I have a couple of samples of the "as seen on TV" kind, but most are basic ones from amazon. There is a little bit of difference, but they all work really well. I have a mix of colors; so different ones get used in the kitchen/bath. I wash them with regular towels and usually don't have a problem with lint. I do use a light cleaning spray since I mainly use them for wiping surfaces, like counters. I spray the surface with cleaner and then wipe with the dry cloth. I only wet the microfiber for dusting. They are great when liquids spill! I also have a few bar cloths and the burp cloth diapers that are great too. We have napkins from etsy made of that wonderful diaper fabric.
Cloth diapers are the best for cleaning! I also use old towels and old tee shirts.
See look how creative we can all be, and it is cheap, lol! I like my new microfiber cloths, and am glad I realized those were enough and I could cancel my other order. I think doing what I have been doing and adding these to the mix will be fine.

Cancelling the order proved why I don't want to buy through those things that you have to buy through a person. She avoided doing the cancellation so I did it, and then had to ask her to confirm she could see that it had been cancelled as they wouldn't send me the email confirmation. Then get this--she contacts the person that had the party and must have made it sound like I had some major thing going on (I had said I had unexpected expenses and also that I realized I only wanted one of the products in the set therefore wanted to cancel until the one item was available later on). So the person that had the party texts and messages me to ask if I am okay (without saying anything else). I said yes? And she goes on to say that the person contacted her and she just wanted to make sure I was okay, and that it wasn't about the products, just that she hoped all was okay. I mean, I appreciate the concern, but all of that worry over me cancelling an order? lol I can't do this kind of stuff. It is too much.

I want that recipe. I bought carbquik biscuit mix. The biscuits are okay.

I do IF. I used to do keto but I've relaxed it in the last few years. I still feel guilty if I eat carbs. I avoid the carbs I can live without - rice and potatoes.

I can do without potatoes, but I eventually need some form of rice. I am learning to eat the heartier kind. The othe day I mixed black rice, brown rice and quinoa. It came out pretty good and was really filling.

It’s no grains, dairy, simple carbs or sugar but lots of good fats. It does allow some starches like sweet potatoes and others hence the flex. Dr. Dale Bredesen is the scientist who advocates it. If you google it, it will pop up. The other part is intermittent fasting which I do 16/8 meaning I only eat eight hours out of the day. I have been highly successful with it.

I think I posted the recipe for whateve for the biscuit. I find it works best with cassava flour. If I didn’t, let me know and I will find it again.

an Italian not eating pasta??? how does that work?

I love carbs, I don't think I could ever do keto

I need to stay off the computer, I purchased another dress!!

Banana Republic is having a sale, 60% off sale items...and I just picked up a dress that was $119 for $15...

I still don't know where I am wearing them but it's not a purse...
I can't look. I ordered some stuff from them a few days ago. It hasn't come yet. I'm pissed off at BR because they gave me $15 off coupon but if I try to use it I lose the percentage off that is already there. The coupon is pretty much useless.

Ugh, what bizarre behavior. I find that folks who sell with Multi Level Marketing companies can be a bit extreme.

Your avocados came from Peru? Ours are expensive too and they are grown in California. How do you eat grapefruit without sugar? I only like the white or yellow kind of grapefruit which are sour but taste so good with sugar.
Most avocados in my area come from Mexico. They are usually yummy, but lately they are not ripening properly. They pick them too early so they can last longer, I guess.

My favorite mushrooms are black mushrooms you get in Chinese food, if you can find an authentic restaurant that uses them. You can buy them dried and reconstitute by soaking in water.
I have yet to find a way to enjoy mushrooms. I eat them because I know they are good, but I don't find them very tasty unless they are completely smothered in butter, etc.

I ate peanut butter, the no sugar kind, when I was on keto. The lowest carb nuts are walnuts. I used to snack on them with a few dark chocolate chips thrown in.
There is a diet thread if you are interested. https://forum.purseblog.com/threads/2020-weight-loss-thread.1022294/
This combo sounds yummy! I just recently bought walnuts at Costco. I need to see if hubby still has dark chocolate in his stash.

Recipe! I use almond flour and olive oil exclusively because I don't like coconut so just add those together if you want for 2tbsp oil and 2tbsp flour. You can obviously mix in cinnamon or other goodies if you want. I also usually leave out the stevia. I don't like my bread sweet.

That's what the sticker says. Peru. I was looking for scorpions.

I love sour stuff so I can eat the grapefruit just plain. The citrus does a number on my stomach though so it's a once in a while treat. I wish I could tolerate it more but for some reason it gives me ulcers. I have the same issue with lemon water.
I see the recipe. Thanks! I love sour things, too. Lime/lemon is my staple salad dressing. I did eat sour grapefruit with sugar when I was growing up. I can only find the sweet grapefruit around here.

I noticed all the avocados in my area are all from Peru too. I try not to buy those as they don’t last as long and turn black inside quickly. I look for the ones from Mexico. Never had one from California though.
I use avocado on everything, lately I have made a guacamole with diced mango and a dash of lime juice.
We eat avocado almost daily in my home. Every, once in a while I go to the international market and I can get other kinds of avocado like the ones I grew up with. Yum! I think those are from Florida.

We store them upside down to make it easier to stir, and then put it in the fridge, like WE. Kirkland's is strange. Both of their nut butters stay runny even in the fridge, but you only need to stir once. I haven't tried their almond, but my boys say it tastes very different and delicious.
I had no idea! Well that's good to know. I will store mine upside down like you ladies. The almond butter is good! I just bought a mixed nuts one - also from Kirkland. I haven't tried it yet, though. I also just go powdered peanut butter. I used it in a smoothie tonight. Yuuummm!!!

I found out today one of my new coworkers who I met once two weeks ago was on a vent in the hospital not doing well. He just moved from CA and apparently picked up the virus somewhere.

He was living with the owner, office next to mine, and the owner’s son still working with me and in my office today. The wife/mom is apparently infected too.

Not one person said a word to me until it was brought up as a by the way in staff meeting today. I was beyond livid. How can I stay safe if you won’t stay home knowing you are living with sick people?

My mother and her husband were just here with me for the week. I could have infected them because you can’t send an email, open your mouth, text, nothing more than a week ago when you obviously found out? I am still angry.

Before I left today, they said the coworker had been taking off the vent and they were going to let him go. He’s like mid-40s. So very sad. I feel so horrible for his family. So many what ifs.

Anyway, take care of yourselves because even in the most blatant of situations, people still can’t or won’t do the right common sense thing.

How sad! I would be angry too! People don't really care about others. I hope you and yours are ok. Prayers for all.
