I know, I know. I am so boring. Like I have eaten the same kind of apple my whole life — red delicious!! (A few years ago, DH “persuaded” me to try different kinds—so I bought about 15 different kinds over a month. In the end, still liked R Delicious the best). And I have had the same DH for over 25 years .
I guess it’s lucky for your husband that you stick with the same thing! ;) haha

I agree. I don’t use any apps that would involve my banking info, and I also can’t see my phone as a way to pay. I use cash for quite a bit of the smallish expenses. I avoid having a debit card for security purposes and use credit cards instead for something I won’t pay cash. I prefer credit cards because if there is an issue it isn’t taking money from your bank account even if the issue is temporary.

Yes same here.

It is easier to have a ban when you have foundation work, and expensive car repairs. Not exactly how I would tell others to do it, but it does supply some motivation! lol
That’s a lot less fun. ☹ But I did spend a chunk of change recently on car repairs so I get it. Then again no vacations this year so that saves some money and less spending on dining and entertainment.

A grocery store we used to shop at regularly only takes debit, not credit, so I have to have a debit card if I want to shop there. It isn't often I have that much cash. Other than that, I agree with you, I'd much rather use credit. There is a gas station chain near us that only takes debit but we avoid those.
That makes sense. I just use the one for my bank on the computer and haven't on my phone. But if I felt the need I would be okay with that one--because it is my bank. But not other places wanting my banking info.
I pay all my bills online on my desktop but once in awhile I need to do a deposit and for that I need the banking app on my phone.

Did Stick have something to do with this? I bought a bag on ebay. Almost 2 hours later, the seller cancelled. I found out later that she sold it on Poshmark to a tpfer after she had already sold it to me. She got more for it on poshmark so she cancelled my purchase.
Thats rude from their part, I hate to say it but speaks tons of their character
I also see in poshmark, people selling their outlet bags for the "orginal" outlet price, when we all know we never pay full price at outlets, I always want to say something but never do.

Only Jif brand, it's the best!! LOL
LOL! One of my siblings loves Jif. I liked them all and didn't realize I loved Skippy the most until I bought my own peanut butter.
You must be a choosy mother! lol
Is that the Jif song? I just remember that Picky People Pick Peter Pan Peanut Butter. I wonder what they said about Skippy.

I always wonder how sellers can cancel, when as a buyer ebay tells you you are obligated to purchase an item you commit to? Maybe there is some allowance on both sides, but I don't think that is really fair.

Wow, only debit? I always thought stores preferred the credit option anyway.... well, I guess I wouldn't be buying at those places, lol. It especially surprises me for the gas station that they would want only debit.

I don't carry much cash either, but like you, I prefer to pay in cash when I am spending under $5. Personally, I can't see myself using my phone to pay for things. I don't like the idea of having by bank/credit card info readily available on my phone. I guess that shows my age. Ha, ha!

I'm the same way. One store we visit infrequently switched to debit; so we use cash/check. They also have an option to purchase a gift card. What a hassle, but we still go. It's also nice not to have one more card to carry around.

Some of them have special agreements with a specific card (Costco) or want you to get their card. That doesn't work on me. ;)
