I know, I know. I am so boring. Like I have eaten the same kind of apple my whole life — red delicious!! (A few years ago, DH “persuaded” me to try different kinds—so I bought about 15 different kinds over a month. In the end, still liked R Delicious the best). And I have had the same DH for over 25 years .
Well, that's good at least! We wouldn't want you to switch husbands frequently. They don't grow the kind of apples I like anymore. I like some of the newer varieties but none are good for baking like my old Macintosh apples.

 You two are making me want to try brands other than the one I have been eating my entire life — Skippy. I am so used to it — although occasionally I get the Skippy crunchy if feeling adventurous. I know I am a consistent/boring eater.
Skippy was my favorite too. To me it was the perfect balance of sweet and salty. Kirkland's is the closest thing to it, at least from my memory.

Hi everyone, so i have to say I am having a proud moment, a couple of months I "liked" a beautiful suede hobo bandit the price was $325 canadian in poshmark...but never jumped on it, as i have mentioned i have twin toddlers and I also live in an area where it starts snowing end of October and well this year we had some snow until April and suede is hard to maintain for me, but it's gorgeous, behold the posher sent me an offer yesterday of $202 cad and $9.99 shipping , I am not gonna lie, it kind of attracted me, like beez to honey hahaah XD and I started doing research but I stay strong offer expired 20 min ago and I didn't buy it!! I am so proud of myself as stupid as it sounds... i have had a super rough couple of days in my personal life and that sometimes sparks some shopping behavior , puff long post to say about the shopping haahah, now getting ready for work
Ps. Its getting colder at night and darkens earlier in my area, feels like we didn't even have a summer...awe 2020 is a year for the history books

Good for you! All those little and not so little victories count!

I don't think it is going to affect me much. I was already using credit for nearly everything before covid. I only carry cash for those times when they don't take credit. Sometimes I'll use cash if the item I'm getting is cheap. I feel guilty using cash when I'm only spending $5. We used to have a business and we know the store's percentage they pay to the bank is based on their average ticket size, so those small items end up pushing their ticket size down, increasing their rates.

I already moved away from having one wallet for everything. Now I have a card case that has no cash, a coin purse, and a small wallet for store credit cards, cash and coupons.

I'm wondering how things will change when we start using our phones to pay for everything. Then we won't need wallets at all.

I don't carry much cash either, but like you, I prefer to pay in cash when I am spending under $5. Personally, I can't see myself using my phone to pay for things. I don't like the idea of having by bank/credit card info readily available on my phone. I guess that shows my age. Ha, ha!

Can you imagine how terrible you would feel if you lost your phone with all that information on it?

I agree. I don’t use any apps that would involve my banking info, and I also can’t see my phone as a way to pay. I use cash for quite a bit of the smallish expenses. I avoid having a debit card for security purposes and use credit cards instead for something I won’t pay cash. I prefer credit cards because if there is an issue it isn’t taking money from your bank account even if the issue is temporary.

It’s Friday! That means it is time to gird your loins, peeps, against weekend holiday sales. Remember, Labor Day is coming and we may need the spike strips for that. Pace your ban!
It is easier to have a ban when you have foundation work, and expensive car repairs. Not exactly how I would tell others to do it, but it does supply some motivation! lol

I do use my banking app , because its convenient for payments etc, but I have mine with digital print, I also like that if you lose your phone you call them and they immediately block your online banking until you go to the bank, i don't pay with my phone tho

That makes sense. I just use the one for my bank on the computer and haven't on my phone. But if I felt the need I would be okay with that one--because it is my bank. But not other places wanting my banking info.
