That is so funny how many here have bought the navy Cassie! lol. Enjoy! I like mine. I have it out now. I do have a suspicion that over time it could get swapped out for a different color, such as the upcoming pollen? But not because I don't like the navy, but because I will probably be up for a change at some point (and do not need 4 cassie bags!). lol

It’s pretty funny! I think the same think happened with the dark berry Charlie a while back haha

I’m excited for it! I have a bag I plan on listing for sale for Cassie to earn her place if she’s a keeper.

That is just crazy! I can't believe anyone would do that, especially a leader. I guess they missed that class when they were going up the ladder? lol

I saw a fellow coworker in our lunchroom who also read the email and we didn’t even need to say anything to each other, we both just started shaking our heads in disbelief lol

The President of my company (definitely a germaphobe) sent out the absolute WORST email regarding the Corona virus. Luckily it only went to managers but aren’t the people in charge supposed to calm everyone’s fears? He started going on about how statistically we are all going to lose someone in our family and we will be losing people in the company!!! Is that a possibility? Maybe I guess, but who says that.

The way everything was phrased was completely crazy and I’m just at a loss for words. Of course he’s just been “working” from home lol
 Wow. That's harsh. I just spoke with someone who was told by a group of respected doctors something similar, but it a gentler way. They said that we are all going to be exposed and the young and healthy will be okay. I hope they're wrong about the bad parts, and as spring rolls in, it will go away.

We've been telling the kids stories about Y2K to lighten the mood. I can see them examining our expressions as they talk with us about what they're hearing and whenever we talk about the latest.

It was way too harsh, I don’t think he should have reiterated the statistics we’ve all been seeing on the news but instead focus on ways we will combat this. It is definitely already affecting our business as we work globally with customers and for sourcing.

As a dark joke a coworker and myself keep saying to each other “still alive” lol

Statistically he's probably right, but yeah, that's... terrible leadership in action. A simple "please be mindful of your hygiene and do your part to ensure that we all stay as healthy as possible" plus a VERY GENEROUS immediate telework policy for as many staff as possible would have been a much better course of action. Ugh! Love the "still alive? still alive!" bit though.

You are doing a great job helping your parents. I hope all passes over, and at least you won't need to shop for a while.

That's cute you brought pet food in your little back pack for your pets. I'm sorry you were teased. I think it was really sweet.

@tealocean Thanks so much for the nice thoughts. The teasing only served to make me more defiant about it, and I'd silently vow not to share my granola bars with any of them when the Big One finally hit. My parents were always very cavalier about tornadoes having grown up in the Midwest themselves, but I spring into action!

Does buying a bag at a thrift store for $6 count?

It's a bit filthy, but I'm just getting into rehab so hey-- now I have a new project!

(Authenticate thread let me know it's a Soho suede Swingback from 2005. Which I think is pretty cool)
I think it qualifies for the bargain exception! Bags under $25 don't count!

I broke my ban a second time (insert eye roll) and bought the bright dark berry Charlie 28 from FOS with free shipping. Just got the notice today it's enroute. I finally have a cute summer pink bag with gold hardware in a style I like and know (not as floppy as the full size Charlie). I should be done if I can get past my hang-up of mixing hardware. I want to use my silver hardware flower charms so I've been looking and looking for a small to medium size bag with silver hardware. Might check out my own consignment shop.

I can tell we're getting close to end of term.
Can’t wait to see pic!

What poor taste. Wow. :(

oh that’s terrible how he addressed the issue :(. It is stressful as it is without his positive (not!) message.

I would like to chime in on this. Unless you are the kind of person to pay attention to what everyone wears, which really isn't that many people--I have found if you pay attention to how little you notice what everyone is wearing in any situation--whether it be shopping, at an event, etc, you will realize how little it matters to everyone else. I don't mean going out in your pajamas because noone cares, but I mean, in the grocery store for example--if I go in sweats and a tshirt and just make sure to see that my hair isn't all freaked out--I realize when I am there I am focused on my groceries and getting out of there, and not on what people are wearing.

I think the same holds true for weddings and funerals for the most part as long as people make somewhat of an effort. And at church these days, anything goes. It is so much more relaxed now.

Absolutely right on this. I guess I wanted to spend my brain cells on footwear to distract myself from current events :(. I also just wanted to reply to you so I can tell you I like your new avatar  (love it when guys wear striped shirts, especially NH and LT of 1D. I know I am robbing the cradle, lol, but on TPF, age and number of bags don’t matter much)

So I've not been holding up to my ban. I've been buying Coach beauties left and right. Lol
I'm wondering if anyone has a color block Willis? I've come across a few and they look so cute.
Or are they not real? Lol they're freaking adorable.

Eta: I've been on the hunt for a reasonably priced Megan as well and I CANNOT for the life of me find one below 100. ☹️ That may be reasonable for some but she's, I can't do it. Lol hopefully one day.

It depends on what version of Willis you are talking about. I have this one. It was called new Willis or Legacy Willis. It's from 2012. It also came in a mini size. There is a brand new Willis out now. I can't remember if I've seen a colorblock version. There is also a mini version.

That one is absolutely gorgeous. This is the one I'm looking at. It seems to have a hangtag but not the tassel. And it also could use a good rehab to get it's shape and such back. The color scheme on yours makes me reconsider the color scheme on this one! Lol
