Involuntary Coach ban support group

Years ago I bought my daughter the American Girl Christmas tree. It's really tiny. We put that up a few years when I didn't want to mess with a tree. We haven't done a tree for years. I have boxes of ornaments in the garage, just waiting for one of my kids to take them.

One year when we still lived out in the country, we cut down our own tree on our property. That was really hard with just a hand saw. Trees look much smaller outside than indoors. It was too big for our house!

That must have been a cute tree. Last year, we got a tiny white tree with tiny lights from the $ tree. It was supposed to be a joke, but the kids loved it and kept the lights to put in a Lego building. Now we have started something! This year we have a tiny teal tree from Target (in addition to the big tree)! That's funny about the tree looking smaller outside. This year, one of my boys asked why the tree looked so small until we got it inside. I told him our ceiling is lower than the sky.

Glad to hear your last minute Thanksgiving meal turned out great. (You deserve a little treat for it ).

It is nice because it is easy and you can change it every now and then when you see one on sale. Last year I got a white tree so that was a fun change. I love the look of the ornaments with it. We have a lot of the vintage looking ones....not vintage but made like them. Now maybe you are getting me in the spirit! Lol. I think I have just been a little overwhelmed at some of the extra cat stuff. Just a lot of stuff to take care of now, but will hopefully will settle soon.

I'm sorry about the cat woes. I hope it all becomes an easy routine. It's good that he is worth it.

I like white Christmas trees. My husband found a beautiful soft teal tree a couple year ago and offered to get it, but the children were horrified at the thought of not having a real tree. It's funny how much traditions mean to them.

It always surprises me that people Christmas shop at thrift stores. One year I sold some of my old sweaters on ebay. People bought them for Christmas presents. It's nice that they didn't feel they had to have brand new.

I wish I had thought of this sooner. Our boys got brand new games as gifts for each other thrifting this year and were able to get it with their little bit of money. It was also so cute to watch a group of teens shopping and having a blast, very excited about cool clothes they found.

They look very pretty in the pictures — I think it will help to see them in person and match them against outfits, etc. I don’t know who is handing out the non-hots now since LT is MIA. I did maintain my 4.0 and got into the honors society (I do not mean to brag at all; I can’t believe it and my DH has to keep telling me to hush up and accept it; this is a very far cry from my first time around, so maybe an old dog really can learn new tricks lol).

But... I have gotten large Derby totes in 3 different colors (teal, rosegold, and black with oxblood interior) over the summer and fall, so I have not been entirely living up to to perfect ban standards...

I like what you said here. To be totally honest if I may — I often feel both happy and guilty when I buy a bag/SLG (especially a premier brand one). Maybe it’s partly due to going to a Catholic school in my younger days, lol. Maybe it’s because I know there are people who barely have enough to eat. Definitely feel conflicted sometimes.

(With all that said, I am kinda scheduled to see my LV SA next week to check out a few small things.)

I did maintain my 4.0 and got into the honors society (I do not mean to brag at alll; I can’t believe it and my DH has to keep telling me to hush up and accept it; this is a very far cry from my first time around, so maybe an old dog really can learn new tricks lol)).

But... I have gotten large Derby totes in 3 different colors (teal, rosegold, and black with oxblood interior) over the summer and fall, so I have not been entirely living up to to perfect ban standards...

Too funny CN — Ladies of the Flies, lol. Great job on doing so well in school (not bragging at all since I asked). I think it is not easy for returning students to get back into studying after working for awhile. I am sure you will make the right decision when you see the bags. And I know how hard it is to stay banned (I have not done well this year at all due to extra retail therapy for stress etc). But hey, maybe I can start fresh and do better in 2020 right?

I vote for no not-hots for you! You've been good. I like the advice IM and ltbag shared with you. Rogues are beautiful, and so much more so in person. I haven't seen a metallic one, but am going to make a guess that you will love the blue one more. I look forward to seeing them and finding out if you keep one or both. Congrats on your work paying off and your 4.0!
