That is such a cool option, again not done here... DD and I actually drove by goodwill today they must of had a sale 'cause the place was a hot mess lol. My best bet for bags here is a facebook based garage sale type thing.. but you have to pick items up.
It always surprises me that people Christmas shop at thrift stores. One year I sold some of my old sweaters on ebay. People bought them for Christmas presents. It's nice that they didn't feel they had to have brand new.

I find the Pharmacy at my closest walmart to be very good. They also offer the cheapest dispensing fee. While we have drug coverage we do have to pay that fee so obviously i want it as low as possible. LOL.
We were getting our prescriptions at Costco. DH is getting drug insurance next year and the insurance company he is using has the best rates at Walmart, which is why we are switching. It turns out it is more convenient and they get the prescriptions filled much faster. Costco usually made us wait until the next day to pick up.

Hi @BeachBagGal I'm glad your meal was delicious! I love your little Nolita too. I still wish I could carry a wristlet without needing to think about it...or hold it. They are great for me inside bags or with a strap attached.
Aw thanks! I typically wear the Nolita as a crossbody, but I was only walking into the restaurant so I figured I would be fancy. Haha.

Ribbons on a Christmas tree? So fancy . I remember when DD was very young, we put a paper chain garland (made with construction paper) on it one year. I should look for my decorations and put a few things up. Over the last couple of years, I only sent out store bought Christmas cards (just to a dozen long time friends and family). It used to be a big project for me to look for the perfect picture of DD or the family to do a personalized Christmas photo card — and send out a bunch.

You still remember my very child-like island Christmas card? Lol. I felt bad I left out E’s name the first time (so sorry still E ). I would be afraid of leaving anyone out again since my memory is not the best and my mind is often a bit scattered.
Oh my gosh you had our names! That’s right! I’m trying to remember what the picture was.

I’ve been really tempted by the gray Channing and the beechwood / saddle cooper. I’ve always wanted a Cooper carryall but I just never pulled the trigger. So far I’ve been able to resist. If I do get one I have a bag or 2 I’d list on eBay to keep with my one in one out I’ve got going on.

Today we did a little shopping for small business Saturday. We got some goodies at a local vegan grocery. We’ve been trying to eat more meatless meals each week. Picked up some hand made soaps and bath products for Christmas gifts and then stopped at wine and liquor store because their sale each year is so good! 27% off all wine! We like to grab a couple of cases of wine so we can bring them to each Holiday gathering and hand out as gifts.

I didn’t really buy much on Black Friday, just a couple of small orders for makeup.
Sounds like some good gifts!

Cyber Monday better do me right this year! Hehe

It is nice because it is easy and you can change it every now and then when you see one on sale. Last year I got a white tree so that was a fun change. I love the look of the ornaments with it. We have a lot of the vintage looking ones....not vintage but made like them. Now maybe you are getting me in the spirit! Lol. I think I have just been a little overwhelmed at some of the extra cat stuff. Just a lot of stuff to take care of now, but will hopefully will settle soon.

oh, I love the look of the white trees . That’s a good idea.

Years ago I bought my daughter the American Girl Christmas tree. It's really tiny. We put that up a few years when I didn't want to mess with a tree. We haven't done a tree for years. I have boxes of ornaments in the garage, just waiting for one of my kids to take them.

One year when we still lived out in the country, we cut down our own tree on our property. That was really hard with just a hand saw. Trees look much smaller outside than indoors. It was too big for our house!

I googled the Amer Girl tree — real cute. And oh wow, you cut down your own tree one year? How cool is that.

I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and you guys aren't doing too much damage with black Friday/cyber Monday shopping!

We had a nice, quiet and stress free day and a big feast for the kitties the next. I'm taking the next few days to get the house in order and get recovery cages set up. Next week starts a bunch of spay/neuters that will keep me busy for the next several weeks.
How did the cats like their Thanksgiving meal? It’s amazing what you do for the cats in your neighbourhood.
I didn't realize it was small business Saturday. We went to Walmart, the opposite of a small business! We transferred DH's prescriptions there. They were so nice! Everyone who worked there went out of their way to help us. I didn't expect that.
Guilty as well. I had to go to Target to pick up a birthday present for a niece’s Frozen themed birthday party. I also did a little damage during the sales. No bags, but a couple SLGs I was curious about and some Barefoot Dreams blankets from Nordstrom. For my insurance, Costco is like our of network so I’d have to pay full price and then get reimbursed. No thanks. CVS has been the favoured pharmacy for a few years now.

I loved that card you made for us! You can do it without names or do a roll call to ask who wants to be on the infamous IM card for 2019.

I skipped a "proper" tree this year, much to the annoyance of my youngest daughter and dh lol. I do not want to be fussing with a 3yo with a tree plain and simple.

I did a small table top tree on top of the fireplace in the living room, decorated with things that can be broke including my grandparents santa from the 1930's. It is more than sufficient.

Perhaps i'll show you guys?
Yes! I would like to see your tree! ETA: Maybe I should read all the posts before posting! That is so cute! I like the smiling snowman and angel holding a star!
