I hope everyone had a great Thanksgiving and you guys aren't doing too much damage with black Friday/cyber Monday shopping!

We had a nice, quiet and stress free day and a big feast for the kitties the next. I'm taking the next few days to get the house in order and get recovery cages set up. Next week starts a bunch of spay/neuters that will keep me busy for the next several weeks.
You are so good with that! Our guy is enough for me. We have been to the vet 2 times already. One for his dental cleaning, and one more to pick up flea meds as well as have his thyroid checked. He has an overactive thyroid and needs meds twice a day ongoing. Luckily he is sweet and cute. Lol. But expensive as well!

How fun and festive to be decorating a tree . If you remember, post a pic when done? I have not done a tree in like 8 years . I used to get a “baby” noble fir (maybe 3 ft tall) every year when DD was little and can easily decorate

I skipped a "proper" tree this year, much to the annoyance of my youngest daughter and dh lol. I do not want to be fussing with a 3yo with a tree plain and simple.

I did a small table top tree on top of the fireplace in the living room, decorated with things that can be broke including my grandparents santa from the 1930's. It is more than sufficient.

Perhaps i'll show you guys?

I don’t blame you for not wanting your little guy to fuss with a real tree this year. Yes, would love to see your little tree please

EDIT: just saw your cute little tree — very festive :)

It’s almost like having a second child isn’t it? Glad you are enjoying and taking great care of him :)

It was Goodwill online. What's happened is that it is harder to find good things at Goodwill stores because they collect all the good things and sell them online instead.

That is such a cool option, again not done here... DD and I actually drove by goodwill today they must of had a sale 'cause the place was a hot mess lol. My best bet for bags here is a facebook based garage sale type thing.. but you have to pick items up.

Thank you. Yeah, i mean i have BTDT with several kids for years, he honestly is pretty well behaved but i don't want the aggravation, why cause conflict if it can be avoided.

I would say I’m about medium-ly blessed in the boob department lol So I guess average ha And I love the AE bralettes for lounging, they’re just so comfy and also cute. I’ve also worn them in the summer when it’s really hot, helps me to feel a little cooler vs a regular bra.

They are extremely comfortable, well for a bra lol.

We always do a small 4 ft artificial tree. I need something that is easy to store away and use. We can use regular ornaments though as our son has never really been an issue with breaking things much. Especially now, lol, he is almost 11! Haha.

Normally I have the tree up on Thanksgiving but this year has just not allowed that. I just didn’t feel like it on that day, and then Friday we had the vet, and had to finish cleaning up our leaves. Today we went out running errands. Maybe tomorrow?..

I should get an artificial tree (maybe during after Christmas sale this year?). It seems like a good idea for me since I have a lot of ornaments etc but just don’t feel like going through the trouble of getting a real tree anymore.

It is nice because it is easy and you can change it every now and then when you see one on sale. Last year I got a white tree so that was a fun change. I love the look of the ornaments with it. We have a lot of the vintage looking ones....not vintage but made like them. Now maybe you are getting me in the spirit! Lol. I think I have just been a little overwhelmed at some of the extra cat stuff. Just a lot of stuff to take care of now, but will hopefully will settle soon.

Years ago I bought my daughter the American Girl Christmas tree. It's really tiny. We put that up a few years when I didn't want to mess with a tree. We haven't done a tree for years. I have boxes of ornaments in the garage, just waiting for one of my kids to take them.

One year when we still lived out in the country, we cut down our own tree on our property. That was really hard with just a hand saw. Trees look much smaller outside than indoors. It was too big for our house!
