Which show?

Korean fried chicken? How is it different from the nonKorean version? A sauce they use?

The show “Justified” — fantastic .

I believe good Korean FC generally has a much lighter batter and maybe spiced slightly differently (although I can’t tell you how since I am not familiar with spices or cooking in general. It tastes really good and I promise you it is not a strange acquired taste.). Also, some Korean FC comes with a mild or spicy sauce too. I am very hooked — and it is not good for me, lol. I honestly don’t think I can go back to KFC ala the Colonel, lol.

I’m still here. . Just busy with life. Nothing bad though. . I need to save a shortcut for this site since I’m so used to just tapping on the app. Haven’t been on much since they got rid of it.
Hi BBG! Yes, I understand. I’m feeling too busy myself. My brain is so full stuff is falling out.

I leave this thread open in Safari on my iPhone. Is that an option for you?

It's been a day and a bit since we were all here. Everybody ok? Let us know.

I've been busy all weekend. Yesterday was groceries and dinner with my sister and brother-in-law. Today I worked all day on school stuff, and in the garden. How about everyone else?

I took off from work on Friday to make a nice 4 day weekend with our Monday Memorial Day holiday. Got a lot of chores done! Spent a couple days planting my garden and mulching and I am so sore! Every year I ask myself why I don’t plant some perennials so I have less work haha Maybe this will be the year I add some to one of my beds. I have 2 large flower beds and one of them the plants never seem to take off no matter what I experiment with.

Hi ML and all . I am guessing everyone is busy BBQ-ing or out of town this long weekend. Glad you had a productive day today and fun dinner last night. I just woke up around 9 pm from a nap (perhaps a food-coma nap, lol). Been on a Korean fried chicken kick this month — had some for lunch today (maybe that’s what knocked me out). Been looking at “pretties” online but am just looking since I don’t have time to “entertain” a new bag at this point (plus still feel guilty about my recent purchases). Last night, we finished the last episode of my new favorite tv series (with my new celeb crush ) — 6 seasons with 13 episodes each, still digesting how the series ended, I would have to say it is one of the best tv show I have ever watched, DH agrees, I feel a bit “lost” now that this show is over, guess we have to move on to the next show that my celeb crush was in and binge watch some more). And finally, I recently ordered a graduation lei for DD.

Mmmm Korean BBQ!!

What show was this again? (Edit: I now see it is Justified) I’m feeling lost as well now that Game of Thrones is over. I’m interested in a new show Good Omens (amazon) that starts this week. Michael sheen plays an Angel who teams up with a demon. Jon Hamm plays Gabriel! I’m excited for it lol

Got my black Grace finally, i went a month ish without it and basically skipped a bag altogether. It's nice to have it back of coarse, i really do prefer it, i mean i checked a few options out there but nothing felt "right" or worth my time/$$.

So what all are you carrying ? I think i am gonna put my butterflies on her, they are black/navy and silver HW so should match well?
This sounds very pretty! I’m looking forward to seeing it!

Good for you getting all that gardening done! I love perennials because I don’t want to have to plant every year—I’d rather wait for my old friends to return each spring! I’m trying to just plant annuals in pots and moving shrubs and perennials to the garden beds. This way I can store the pots in my shed during the winter.

Which direction does your garden bed face—the one which grows poorly? And do you remember what kinds of plants you planted that did not grow? Let’s see if we can figure something out.

I'm still bitter over the ending of GOT. It felt very "blah" to me lol. I'm excited for Good Omens, I love David Tennant!!!!

Why have I never known how awesome small backpacks are until this past week?! I have been carrying my dark fairytale campus 23 from FOS and it's amazing!! It fits my necessities plus diapers/wipes for my youngest. It is so much easier to chase around my kids and carry my 2 year old. I think because it's small and the straps don't look like typical large school backpacks it's still super cute on. I would love a bigger size so that I could fit water and snacks as well but afraid it might lose its "cute" look, if that makes any sense lol.

Both my beds face Northeast. I have the one figured out for what works best, the one side gets a lot of sun and less sun towards one end and finishes up with a corner that gets very little sun. I don’t plant anything fancy, but this bed does well with petunias, snapdragons, cosmos, marigolds, begonias, zinnia and towards the shady corner I plant impatiens as they’re the only flower that really thrives for me in the dark spot. This year I’m experimenting with some Dianthus to see if it’s another flower I can use here.

The other bed gets part sun and all the plants listed above do grow but never get as full as the other bed. I have some tulip bulbs, hyacinth, and Allium that come up in this bed every year for Spring. The Hyacinths started out strong but now I only get a few each year. I was only get one lonely Allium stalk for a few years but this year a bunch came up and are just starting blooming! I’m excited this one seemed to spread! I guess they like full sun so I probably planted them in the wrong location.
