Although it’s kind of amazing that as people, you just do what you have to do! You all would have managed two teenagers beautifully. It’s the parents with three kids or more that I have total admiration for as the parents are outnumbered.

My own two are close together. 20 months apart. The first six weeks were very difficult (What have we done?!) but every six weeks after that got better and better. I am an “older mom” and wanted two so we didn’t want to wait too long between them.
I have 3 kids and had them in 3 1/2 years, my first two are 18 months apart and then my youngest was born when the middle one was 2. There were days I didn’t leave the house and when one got sick we all got sick especially a stomach bug, but they are all grown up now. My oldest graduated college last May, and the other two are in college, one freshman the other a junior/senior(credit hours). When they were all home for the holidays it was interesting to see them interacted with each other, at times they seemed grown up and then others not so much.

You must be so proud of your kids! So much which seems overwhelming and challenging is temporary when the kids are little and as parents we just push through. We are remarkable! And it’s wonderful for each of us to see how far we’ve come along as a family!
