It's a slippery slope!! I spent over $2,500 at LV in less than a week. Trying hard to hold off on buying another LV and now Coach seems like such a bargain

It is. I have watched myself become far to comfortable with spending higher amounts, i have reined it in.

Here's a similar one by Cole Haan MSRP $238 on sale but I have never carried CH before. It also doesn't have the same appeal with the gradient coloring.

Similar, yes. Not the same but i wouldn't settle, that ends up being a sell bag.

My goal is to have fun with the bags, confirming my favorites and deciding whether there are any I should pass along. I want to go slowly and be sure any bags added are really going to be a joy to use.

I just put all my 1941 bags in a brand new book shelf. I have most in dust bags but I really wish I could leave them out so I can see them. The whole case is full so there's no room for new bags. Not even a mini one. Nope!

Then I'll need another book case for my other Coach bags that are neither 1941 nor vintage. Then one more for vintage ones only. So we are talking 3 bookshelves full. No mas. Who knew I could love so many bags! View attachment 4292457

Impulse buy and I'm loving it!! The metallic leather is soft yet seems durable against flaking. Exterior pockets are crossgrain in oxblood and easily fit my phone.

Did you add the crossbody strap? looks nice.

I don't have anything in my collection over $500. I think once I bought something over $600 but I returned it. I don't want to end up on that slippery slope.

A year long ban would be very very hard!

I've never even reached the 500$ i am cheap.

Eek! LV store just opened in our local mall and I won't even risk going in. I'm not a fan of most of their stuff but I do know they have leather. I pass by on the opposite side and glance over for a sec and keep going. I'll go in someday when I win the lottery. [emoji16]

Great organization! I have run out of space too. I wish I could keep my bags out of their dust case. That would help me make up my mind more quickly about what to wear and also use more of them more often, I think. The problem is we get a lot of dust out in a semi rural area. I don't understand why, but that's the way it is.

That would help me make up my mind more quickly about what to wear and also use more of them more often, I think. The problem is we get a lot of dust out in a semi rural area. I don't understand why, but that's the way it is.

Maybe print up a pic and attach it to the dustbag so it’ll be easier to figure out the bag. I know ideally it is better to see without the bag, but who wants their bags getting dusty.

Ideally I would love to have clear acrylic doors on them so I don't ever have to dust. But I have to know what my final number is and how much space they will need before I do that. I still have a lot of vintage bags that I need to go through and narrow down what my must haves are. Then I can go get the doors.

Lol, sorry to disappoint but no good story. I am merely clumsy and have nearly burned my fingers holding the match upside down so the flame went up the wooden part almost reaching my fingers. So I still get a little scared doing it each time.
