Honestly, 1.2 k is not much different/more than 1k if you are doing a bag over 1k
I missed replying to this. I know it's not much more than $1k but I really don't think I NEED any bag regardless of the price for probably at least 5 years or ever again. [emoji38] I don't buy bags because I "need" it. I buy them because they are beautiful and I love the leather, design, color and the functionality of the bags. I definitely get rid of bags that don't work for me. I just don't get rid of them by donating which would be the fastest way to get them out. That's why I'm trying to sell them to get at least whatever I paid for them.

Eek! LV store just opened in our local mall and I won't even risk going in. I'm not a fan of most of their stuff but I do know they have leather. I pass by on the opposite side and glance over for a sec and keep going. I'll go in someday when I win the lottery. [emoji16]
You might not even like them that much. I've only been tempted once at the LV store but it was $4000 so it wasn't going to happen. If I came across an epi at a thrift store, I would probably get it.

So true! The LV's I always drool after are consistently about 3K plus tax, so that's a non starter for me. I have a hard time with the epi leather. Touched it in store and did not like it one bit. It felt too plasticky to me. Looooved the smooth leather, though.

Thank you. They look plasticky to me so now I know they also feel plasticky. Smooth leather it is!

It’s not really plasticky but it feels different for sure. And also hard and stiff (hmmm). I was seriously considering another epi bag before buying this latest LV but decided against it (due to its width. Add the width to the stiffness and I will be bumping against everything).

It feels hard when new, but some of the pieces I’ve seen preloved looked really worn. I wonder if it’s the way the owner uses it.
