It’s not really plasticky but it feels different for sure. And also hard and stiff (hmmm). I was seriously considering another epi bag before buying this latest LV but decided against it (due to its width. Add the width to the stiffness and I will be bumping against everything).

I think the only bag I would be ok with in Epi is the Alma. Just because it’s a bag that’s stiff by nature.

I missed replying to this. I know it's not much more than $1k but I really don't think I NEED any bag regardless of the price for probably at least 5 years or ever again. [emoji38] I don't buy bags because I "need" it. I buy them because they are beautiful and I love the leather, design, color and the functionality of the bags. I definitely get rid of bags that don't work for me. I just don't get rid of them by donating which would be the fastest way to get them out. That's why I'm trying to sell them to get at least whatever I paid for them.

I agree that you don’t need another bag given how many you have (and how many you actually use, which I assume is not all). My point is instead of buying two $600 bags, if you truly love the Roy (which I am not sure you do, I mean, truly truly love), you should consider it. But I understand and agree that we all need to do what we are comfortable with. And again, you don’t need another bag for a long time given how many you have already.

I was considering the Epi Neo Noe which I really dig the handcarry option (don’t know why). But I was scared that since I didn’t like my epi Petit Noe (due to bumping into things) that I might have the same problem again even with the short handle option. I agree the epi Alma is just stunning — especially in black, indigo and blueberry (BB)

And I have actually heard that epi leather wears really well, like iron. Except for corner scuffs and some creases.

Well it's been over a month and my local consignment shop hasn't sold a single item of my stuff. I also can't seem to find my light blue dakotah but did find a hologram Taylor tote still in original packaging I completely forgot I had.
That stinks! Do you have to leave them there or can you get them back and post to sell online?

That’s a bummer. Although keep in mind that it often takes over a month to sell stuff on your own.

The black Epi Alma looks very elegant. Epi captures colors really well.

That’s what I had heard too. But the Noe’s in Epi on fashionphile looks really worn. Though it could be bc they are lighter colored and from the 90s. Lol

Lol, probably the light color ones don’t wear well. I used to own this one (made in 97). It looked great except for a few minor creases in the leather. But the width did not work for me.

Yeah, was just hoping at least 1 thing would sell lol. Maybe people with Christmas money will shop there soon.

In the meantime you can list a few to try and sell on your own? I know you mentioned you were weary of doing this, and I completely understand! It took me years to do it and now that I’ve been selling things I regret not doing it sooner!

Maybe just start with a couple inexpensive items to feel out the process. Mercari is ridiculously easy. You can even choose to buy shipping labels through them, you print and attach to the package all the buyers info is already linked. I have been purchasing labels through PayPal because it’s cheaper but to make it easier getting them right in the Mercari is a nice option. I know you can do it!
