She is beautiful!
Here is what was under the tree from DH to me. (Picked by me, of course.)
DH was surprised that I went with black! I had a hard time choosing between black and oxblood. Again, I went to the store during a cloudy afternoon, so I couldn't really get a good look at the oxblood. Either way, I kept going back to the black. I just love it! He loves it too, and is impressed with the hardware. [emoji41] I went and had them embossed this afternoon. Of course, within two hours, I had lost the fob. [emoji15] Fortunately, it was in my car! [emoji28] Apparently I broke the chain and now it is too small to put it back. I hope to get another.... Anyway, here they are:View attachment 4290936View attachment 4290937View attachment 4290938
More classy beauties!

Good morning and Happy Holidays! It's been a lovely Christmas holiday so far with family. I'm enjoying having my kids at home and being together. We've attended their holiday concerts (they both sing in different choirs) and seen a Christmas play but more on that later.

Let's look at the goods then we can move on.

After an amazing Christmas concert by my Littles before school got out, I was browsing the LV website late at night and to my amazement the Toiletry Pouch 26 was available online. This particular piece has been sold out for ages. So I decided to buy it and I'm thrilled. It is gorgeous, monogram and made in France. I picked it up in store and it was beautifully boxed and wrapped in their Christmas ribbon. I had to laugh as I was texting my teaching partner after I bought the TP26 because she was also late night shopping for boots!

The beautiful flowers are from DH as part of my Christmas present...we're going to Las Vegas in the spring and there were tickets to see Donny and Marie in my stocking! As a child on the 70s, I have always loved the Osmonds and especially Donny in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

I have visited three Coach stores over the past two weeks due to circumstances, not necessarily planned, but I've been buying each time.

I bought my Charlie in dark berry with glitter edging for work this winter to rotate with my Speedy 30 B DE. Here she is with my Minnie charm and dark berry phone wallet with crystal appliqué. The gold looks perfect with the dark berry. It's quite festive.

Then I purchased the rainbow rose glitter wristlet (not sure if that's the right name) and the Charlie 28 in blue metallic in two different stores. Charlie is wearing my old pave C purse charm. I like the new crystal tearose charm but I can wait.

My closet is pretty full right now so time to stop. I'm enjoying a lot of what's in store at Coach right now but I find these sales trying to a certain extent when one is trying to do price adjustments, there's a sudden markdown, that kind of thing. And it's "final sale" here in Canada for anything purchased during the SAS and other holiday promotions or open sales, something I forgot when I bought the wristlet. I've already called customer service to tell them their SAs should inform clients of a final sale BEFORE a transaction is completed, not when they're handing over the bill and it's too late, as a general courtesy.
That berry is especially gorgeous! You will brighten everyone's day as you pass by!

BTW, I sold the last bag listed (from my main collection, lol). Maybe I should list a couple more next year to get to 20. Or maybe not. Either way, it feels good to lighten the load (of purses). It took me a few years (and a good amount spent) to get to this point so I truly understand how hard it is to break the look/buy/sell cycle and stay on a ban.
Congratulations! You did it!!! [emoji108] [emoji257]
Wow, seems you're down to a really great number. I don't how I would be able to go down so low....

All good handbag goals so far from Alexa, Whateve, Syren — Thank you for sharing. BBG — have fun organizing your closet. I need to do some organizing and sorting/throwing out stuff too.

For my 2019 bag goals, maybe continue to do the same as this year. That is, don’t buy any bag for 6 months again — this will take me to next summer which coincides with my birthday and anniversary (so I guess this timing is probably good, lol). Maybe buy one SLG? I thought I used all my sales earnings with my recent purchases but then I sold a couple of small things since then so I have a little something to play with/buy stuff. I guess the DH-Imposed bag ban has actually been good on my bag ban, lol, as much as I hate to admit. If possible, I might list a couple more bags pending further evaluation and speed dating. I would still like to get down to 20 main bags which is within reach. Even if I don’t list any more bags, my bag count has been at its lowest in a long time/years. That’s all I can think of for now.
My goal is to have fun with the bags, confirming my favorites and deciding whether there are any I should pass along. I want to go slowly and be sure any bags added are really going to be a joy to use.

I agree. Lately I'm less likely to change out of bags daily....
Talking about totes, my beautiful old faithful broke about 2 weeks ago. I have had it for 3 and a half years. I use it a couple times per week on average. Now I need to look for a new one. I tried using my green one, but it is big and I am constantly tempted to over load it. That's no good. I need to search for a smaller one. I am now regretting a gorgeous men's tote with stripes I passed on years ago. Oh well. Hopefully I will find a nice sturdy one soon.
Hi C, I'm sorry to hear about old faithful. It's hard when a beloved workhorse bag falls apart. I think this is connected to that feeling of familiarity and comfort with a much used bag.

Is your green tote the Market Tote? I had a black Market Tote but it was so big that I did overfill it too many times and made it really heavy. I think that was the beginning of my rotator cuff issues. It's good that you are aware of how much is too much. I should have listened to my body better.

I love the idea of a men's tote. Currently I'm using one of those crossgrain leather turnlock totes on sale right now. Mine's the older version without the extra pocket for a laptop. I think it's a little smaller than the Market Tote, and not very soft and flexible which I like because it won't stretch out.

I love how you said "joy to use." I think that is excellent criteria for what handbags I will keep. Very Marie Kondo.

I decided I am going to return my Page after ordering the dark berry Dreamer. I love the look, but like any large flap bag they do start to get on my nerves. I think I could tolerate this one but I also think I might avoid choosing it when changing bags. Plus I think I didn’t want to buy too many bags on the sale so I feel better returning it. I need to talk to a coach ambassador after 11 today to try to do the return to Coach. I really don’t care about annoying my local store as I bought it there but after yesterday I am not in the mood to go back there so soon.
I'm sorry the Page didn't work out, but happy to hear you found the Dreamer instead. It's really helpful to hear your thoughts on the Page. It is so gorgeous, but I was wondering if it would be skipped over for being just a little too cumbersome to use.
