I have the chalk Rogue 25 with oxblood handles. She makes a great bag for summer nights, but I could carry her as a winter white bag as well. I understand how you feel because I love gold hardware so much myself.

I’m definitely low on pastel coloured bags for spring (I have none), which is why I was thinking about customizing a Charlie with tearoses, but I don’t know. In my heart, I would like to see myself making do with what I’ve got for now and be a bit more creative with my accessories.

Yes, that's how I feel about purses for sure. [emoji41] sometimes about shoes too. I loved that movie, by the way!

I've been thinking of doing that, but no need. My cc is very good about giving me a breakdown at the end of the year and this year is particularly scary...[emoji15]

I don't think we're getting old: I think it's about comfort and the familiar. When I get settled into a certain handbag, I just like to stick with it. I don't like to change my handbags really frequently. I couldn't do it every day. Every week is more than enough, and I'd actually rather go for two weeks at a time. But I don't think I'd get through all of my bags.

Earlier this year, I sold off a bunch of totes due to my shoulder issues. I decided to cut back to three totes (not counting my few Longchamp) and carry one tote to haul my school stuff every day each term. I'll change to a different tote next term, and then a different one again in the spring. I've carried my Cloud turnlock tote every day since the first day of school which is about 80 days so far this school year. Not too shabby when I consider cost per wear. I'll switch to my old navy Bonnie Cashin tote to give Cloud a rest.

I agree. Lately I'm less likely to change out of bags daily....
Talking about totes, my beautiful old faithful broke about 2 weeks ago. I have had it for 3 and a half years. I use it a couple times per week on average. Now I need to look for a new one. I tried using my green one, but it is big and I am constantly tempted to over load it. That's no good. I need to search for a smaller one. I am now regretting a gorgeous men's tote with stripes I passed on years ago. Oh well. Hopefully I will find a nice sturdy one soon.
