Gorgeous colors to brighten up the spirits during the long cold spell.
The wet weather and chilly temperatures can be depressing sometimes. I’m always looking for ways to lift my spirits through the winter. I try to get outside as much as possible for a bit of sunshine when it makes an appearance. A beautiful handbag can make a difference to a gloomy day!

Lovely additions, ML. Agree on the polices they should be upfront about them.
Thanks, HS. I feel they were being purposefully secretive to make a sale and there’s no need for that. These past few experiences have really soured me on Coach’s business practises. I need open, honest and consistent policies among the stores to continue being a loyal client.

The only thing I can think of that I posted was a bead sorter that I use for keychains. The sections might be too small for some jewelry. I got mine from Walmart and Amazon. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00BYL3NS...bf7b-676f9c0dfdbe&ie=UTF8&qid=1546129121&sr=1
There might be something with bigger compartments that will work better for larger jewelry.
I also use trees like this: https://www.amazon.com/Wuligirl-Bra...&qid=1546129235&sr=8-8&keywords=bracelet+tree
and trays for bracelets https://www.amazon.com/JackCubeDesi...qid=1546129275&sr=8-20&keywords=bracelet+tray
Or you could use a hanging organizer, something like this: https://www.amazon.com/Hanging-Dual...r=1-8&keywords=hanging+organizer+with+pockets
I have one for my scarves. When I had fewer keychains, I used some of the pockets for those as well.

Thanks! I have something like the bottom link, the pocket bag hanger. It is full. I think the container box will be good for some of the jewelry I have in pouches right now, esp some of the rings and stud earrings.

That's so bad. I haven't shopped Coach retail in forever lol. With my closet FP store gone i haven't liked anything bad enough to drive further.
It’s very unfortunate. I should probably take a little break from shopping and enjoy my lovely new things. I’ve been shopping at Coach for nine years so I believe it’s a good time to pause.

Thanks, Im! Yes, the black is gorgeous, thick, chewy leather and rich looking! I'm in love. I"ll go by the store and ask about another chain. Thanks, me too! It's such a sweet detail. Thanks, yes I love it! I see what you mean about the chunky hardware. I had not thought about that. I will need a better way to secure it.Thank you! Yes, it's all those pretty details that won me over. The contrast with the black is just perfect. Did you get a new chain from the store or did you call CS?Thank you! The black and brass combination is gorgeous too!

I emailed CS and they sent it to me. It took a while for it to ship, I think it came from the repairs department.

I am either getting old and less tolerant, or customer service standards are slipping. I think it comes down to the individual SA/management style of the store which determines how clients are being treated.

I agree. That’s why I like to shop online to avoid the possible aggravation. Plus I like packages being delivered to me. [emoji6]

I can't stop looking at bags either, IM! I really want to take one out. But it's raining super hard today so I don't think I can carry either one, but tomorrow I'm going for Christmas lunch with my mother-in-law and then an afternoon tea with friends so I hope to be able to carry the Blue Charlie. I can give my Madison black gathered small bag a break. That one is my usual go-to.

Christmas at Pemberley was such a good play. I've read lots of sequels which is always amusing but I love live theatre and the costumes, sets and characters were really good. There was also a live Christmas tree and many references were made to it as being inspired by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, who had the first real Christmas tree based on Albert's German traditions. DH and I have a "Christmas in the City" day every year as soon as we're on holiday. It changes every year, sometimes we see the gingerbread house displays in a local hotel, or decorated Christmas trees for charity. This year was the play and lunch, and we went with my sister and brother-in-law so that was a nice pre-Christmas treat.

I'm very excited to see Donny and Marie. Their singing voices are just amazing after all these years. I think they've been doing a Las Vegas show for awhile now?

I will have to plan my bags to take to Las Vegas. I never know if I should carry something glam (metallic bag?) or Louis Vuitton? Or stay under the radar and use something low-key? What would you do?
Oh how fun ML! What a sweet tradition you have with DH. [emoji178] Las Vegas will be so great! I think Donnie was so cute when young - he is still looking good!

I hope it stops raining tomorrow so you can use your newbie. Afternoon tea sounds fun — I have only done it once or twice ever, many many years ago, I have always wanted to do it with DD. Your “Christmas in the City” day is such a lovely idea — how fun to choose a different holiday activity each year, I should think about doing that maybe with a friend.

I am excited for you about your Vegas trip. We last went there maybe 6 years ago in the middle of the scorching hot summer. Good question about what bag to bring — I am probably not the best person to ask, lol, since I usually travel with a travel bag like a Bagallini. Maybe you can bring both a glam bag and an LV. A glam bag seems like a good choice for the show and nighttime outings. Then again, I prefer to carry a LV when shopping at LV except when I am in Hawaii, always using my Baggallini — it may not matter in Vegas since it caters to all tourists. Then again, low key is good too since you don’t want to be a target in a touristy place. I don’t think I am being very helpful . Well, at least you got plenty of time to decide.

Anything goes in Las Vegas. Some people will be super dressed up and others will be casual. You'll see all brands carried there. I doubt your LV will attract any unwanted attention since there will be others with Chanel and Hermes.

Vegas will be so fun! I’ve been once and I would love to go back and stay in Old Vegas in one of the old hotels of Fremont Street. Last time we stayed in an enormous penthouse just off The Strip as we were there with a few couples. It was incredible but I honestly enjoyed the grimy vibe in Old Vegas [emoji23] I felt like Elvis was going to drive around the corner in a big black Cadillac any minute and we’d go have prime rib at The Golden Nugget haha The Strip was fun but felt like Disney World but you can do anything and everything on The Strip. Shopping was great at Caesar’s. I also went to another mall but I can’t remember the name ... I was excited to go in the Diane Von Furstenberg store there. Years later and I still have regrets of turning my BF down when he offered to buy me DVF leather gloves [emoji22] They were beautiful!

You’ll see all bag brands carried in Vegas! I’d feel comfortable carrying LV for sure. Maybe a blingy clutch for evening! You’ll have to look good for Donny!

DH says next time we should stay downtown. Years ago we always stayed at the Plaza. His mom used to stay at the El Cortez. It was super cheap. Back then everything was so cheap. I loved it when people walked down the street with buckets full of coins. I miss old time slots. But I love shopping on the strip. We never stay in a fancy hotel on the strip. They are always crowded and it's a mile walk to your room. We usually stay at the Marriott Fairfield on Dean Martin. It's very close to the strip. They have shuttles to take you.

We went years ago, and we stayed at Signature at MGM--at the time the Signature had just been built, and it was absolutely clean and beautiful and quiet. It was also inexpensive, surprisingly. That said, it was a very long walk through the Signature, all of the way through the MGM, etc, to get to the strip. But it was a great place to stay. Now I think most of them are condos/owned by people, but I haven't researched Las Vegas hotels since then. I did have a lot of fun there. We loved seeing all of the major hotels and sites. And we had a great plane trip to the Grand Canyon, and then took a helicopter ride over it. So fun and beautiful.

I think it would be so fun to stay Downtown. It still has an older vibe to it. Next time we go I’d like to do the Grand Canyon helicopter tour. I’ve watched some videos of flights and it looks amazing!
Thank you, Ladies, for all these great suggestions on handbags, hotels and things to do.

I do love the handbag watching in Las Vegas. I may take two bags because that would be fun! A day bag and an evening clutch?

We’ve stayed at the Aria and the Tropicana on our previous trips which were both great, but DH is planning somewhere different I think.

We love walking down the strip. We always do that, at least once in the day and once in the evening. The people watching is fascinating. We’ve been down to the Fremont area and I love it there. I’ve been to the outlets which was pretty amazing. My favourite shopping spots are the Forum shops at Caesar Palace and Crystals. I’ve been to the LV store in both places and received great service, even while just browsing. There’s just so much selection in Las Vegas, and stores we don’t have here at home. I don’t buy much but it’s fun to look. We’ve also visited Hoover Damn and Red Rocks. A visit to the Grand Canyon sounds in order!

I love receiving packages in the mail! But I have to see the item in real life first. I’m not a good online shopper. I find I’m never 100% happy if I just see my purchase online. I’ve returned almost everything I bought except my blue rivets crossbody pouch and a few eBay purchases.

DH and I started doing this a few years ago as a way of spending a bit of time together before the full Christmas immersion of kids, cooking, presents and family over the holidays. It’s been really fun and something we look forward to planning every year.

I remember watching the Andy Williams show when the Osmonds used to sing on his Christmas specials. And I loved Donny in Joseph. It will be fun to see him and Marie singing together!

@musiclover Did I understand your post correctly that the Dark Berry Charlie has glitter edging? Or were you saying the glitter edging of the Minnie tag would match the bag?
Yes, Dark Berry Charlie has glitter edging! It’s sparkling and a lovely finish on this bag. Our Minnie charm has the pretty glitter bow to match Charlie’s glitter edging. I’m just in the middle of making dinner but I’ll be back with a photo of the two close-up.
