Alright, look what you all made me do, lol. I haven’t looked at Coach for a long time (partly due to their not so user friendly website). I was so enamored with ML’s dark berry Charlie that I had to see what else they made in this color. The Dinky is so pretty but alas, too Dinky and small for me. Then I saw the Turnlock Charlie (I like having a closure). Then I saw the navy blue signature Sutton at Macys (I know Harley has the brown one) — this blue signature print speaks to me even though I swore off all Coach signature items.

However, you can relax, I didn’t buy anything since I am not supposed to buy anything for awhile. But it was fun to look tonight.

I have some more LV SLGs in mind and would like to purchase a wallet next month. I'll be doing a little more travelling next year and I love to visit Louis Vuitton in each city I visit.

I also have some gardening, furniture and home decorating goals I'd like to work on so will let these be my priority moving forward.

Me too — I want to take a pause too. I have actually been slightly less motivated to change bags, buy bags, etc. Maybe I am getting old — or not feeling well, lol.

I went to the store to pick up my tattoo Dreamer today. I was kinda scared to go in fearing I'll end up buying lots of sale stuff! I chatted with the SAs for long time. I got to see the new signature Dumbo Riley coming out but I didn't like it because the Dumbo head is upside down on the bag. Looked weird to me that they would do that. Also a Dumbo charm coming out that's cute. In the end I came home with nothing extra! I almost bought the bow ornament but I didn't want to charge my card just for one little thing. My SA showed me my total money spend this year and that number was a great deterrent and kept me well behaved! [emoji56]

I like the Charlie turnlock myself with the closure but I'm ok without as the side pockets are quite deep and it will be hard to see what's in the bottom of the bag. I keep admiring it, though!

I love the navy blue signature, too! :love: Even though I've not owned any for awhile, I was awfully fond of it at the time. My favourite bag right now in blue signature is the Parker with that lovely combination of leather and signature and the big tearose turnlock.

I'm surprised she would show you that! Why would she want to discourage your buying? One year I added up all my Coach receipts and it was scary. I haven't done that again.

This is a good time for me to pause and enjoy my handbags. I feel content with what I have and wish to focus on other things around the house.

I don't think we're getting old: I think it's about comfort and the familiar. When I get settled into a certain handbag, I just like to stick with it. I don't like to change my handbags really frequently. I couldn't do it every day. Every week is more than enough, and I'd actually rather go for two weeks at a time. But I don't think I'd get through all of my bags.

Earlier this year, I sold off a bunch of totes due to my shoulder issues. I decided to cut back to three totes (not counting my few Longchamp) and carry one tote to haul my school stuff every day each term. I'll change to a different tote next term, and then a different one again in the spring. I've carried my Cloud turnlock tote every day since the first day of school which is about 80 days so far this school year. Not too shabby when I consider cost per wear. I'll switch to my old navy Bonnie Cashin tote to give Cloud a rest.

So now we are Dreamer twins with the two Dreamers. :-). Now you just have to buy the berry one on sale at Macy’s. Lol. I didn’t plan on having 3 of them but have been watching that Berry.

It’s ok to look and you just looked no buying! No harm done [emoji1] That Dinky is really pretty, I only have one and I have to be very strategic in what I carry. I started putting my cards and cash in the kisslock and that frees up a lot of space. I’ve been admiring the Charlie turnlock since it’s release, love the style and size. But after m Clarkson Hobo in wondering if they have the same leather. Although the stiffness of the Clarkson leather would work better to keep the Charlie more structured. So it might not bother me on that style. I LOVE the blue signature! I think my 2019 bag plan will include acquiring either the Charlie carryall or the Riley crossbody in blue as I always catch myself looking at them online lol

Omg! I’ve been waiting for these items! Were they in store or did you just see pics? I really want a charm or 2 and the preview pics we saw included a skinny scarf and I’d like that! I love the Riley bag, I want a plain one but they’re never included in sales [emoji19]

The signature Parker’s have been on my most wanted list since they were released! I almost have enough Nordstrom rewards to cover the cost [emoji23] The first reward to expire comes up end of January and I keep waiting for a sale but they never go on sale! So I may have to just suck it up but it will be “free” with points so no loss really.

I keep waffling on which color I want but it will most likely be the rust and black with rivets. I listed most of my small crossbody bags I use for nights out as I’m finding myself annoyed with how small they are. I think the Parker will fill my new void of dinner bag.
