I decided I am going to return my Page after ordering the dark berry Dreamer. I love the look, but like any large flap bag they do start to get on my nerves. I think I could tolerate this one but I also think I might avoid choosing it when changing bags. Plus I think I didn’t want to buy too many bags on the sale so I feel better returning it. I need to talk to a coach ambassador after 11 today to try to do the return to Coach. I really don’t care about annoying my local store as I bought it there but after yesterday I am not in the mood to go back there so soon.

So I am watching this Hallmark movie about a shoe addict’s Christmas. The main character said to someone that shoes are more than just footwear — they are an expression of our mood (happy, flirty, fun, serious, etc) and each pairs tells a story. Hmmm, does this sound like our feelings about purses? :)

How very us. Lol I do tend to change my bag out not only per my mood but by how I’d like to feel that day as well. I’ll gravitate toward a brighter bag when I feel blah, but would like to cheer up. This is why one can’t have too many accessories [emoji4]

I went to the store to pick up my tattoo Dreamer today. I was kinda scared to go in fearing I'll end up buying lots of sale stuff! I chatted with the SAs for long time. I got to see the new signature Dumbo Riley coming out but I didn't like it because the Dumbo head is upside down on the bag. Looked weird to me that they would do that. Also a Dumbo charm coming out that's cute. In the end I came home with nothing extra! I almost bought the bow ornament but I didn't want to charge my card just for one little thing. My SA showed me my total money spend this year and that number was a great deterrent and kept me well behaved! [emoji56]

You can do that? That’s amazing. What a spending deterrent lol

Gosh, I need to do more shopping at Nordstrom’s to build up my rewards!

I sold all my signature pieces a couple of years ago and can’t believe I’m entertaining the thought of purchasing another one! But it’s a really beautiful, elegant bag and I would love it! You’ve done the right thing in selling off the bags you didn’t want first, then planning for buying.

My credit card I use for all purchasing is a Nordstrom rewards card. I pay everything via card (bills, dining, etc.) and then pay it to zero each month. Should I have a cash rewards credit card? Probably but this way I feel like my rewards are fun Nordstrom purchases [emoji23]

Hopefully they understand and send you a label to return. Sorry it’s not working out for you!

Lol we know where we are really doing our spending haha. I use an Amazon rewards card for everything but gas and it feels nice to get the stuff I buy on amazon “free”.

I am either getting old and less tolerant, or customer service standards are slipping. I think it comes down to the individual SA/management style of the store which determines how clients are being treated.
To me, it's a little of both. When I see SAs on their phones, I get a little annoyed, but I'm also drawing on customer service standards from a couple decades ago.

Alright, look what you all made me do, lol. I haven’t looked at Coach for a long time (partly due to their not so user friendly website). I was so enamored with ML’s dark berry Charlie that I had to see what else they made in this color. The Dinky is so pretty but alas, too Dinky and small for me. Then I saw the Turnlock Charlie (I like having a closure). Then I saw the navy blue signature Sutton at Macys (I know Harley has the brown one) — this blue signature print speaks to me even though I swore off all Coach signature items.

However, you can relax, I didn’t buy anything since I am not supposed to buy anything for awhile. But it was fun to look tonight.
I like that Sutton and looked at the one in Cadet for sale right now. Then again, I just don't know if I should buy another bag.
