I love the Madison bags! I still have 2 - a black leather Lindsey and a magenta Isabelle. The leather still smells great on them!
I still have two Sophia's, a black wristlet and my black gathered Madison small bag which I use for evenings out. And I totally agree about that great leather smell. It's not really that evident in the new bags, not like the Madison line.

Here is what was under the tree from DH to me. (Picked by me, of course.)
DH was surprised that I went with black! I had a hard time choosing between black and oxblood. Again, I went to the store during a cloudy afternoon, so I couldn't really get a good look at the oxblood. Either way, I kept going back to the black. I just love it! He loves it too, and is impressed with the hardware. [emoji41] I went and had them embossed this afternoon. Of course, within two hours, I had lost the fob. [emoji15] Fortunately, it was in my car! [emoji28] Apparently I broke the chain and now it is too small to put it back. I hope to get another.... Anyway, here they are:View attachment 4290936View attachment 4290937View attachment 4290938
These are beautiful purchases! I want to get some more hangtags stamped for me. I like yours with the bicycle!

Awesome purchases ML! I’m glad you were able to get the TP26. They’re so hard to come by! I love the colors you chose for the Charlie. That’s so strange that they wouldn’t tell you that they’re final sale ahead of time.
I was very unhappy with the customer service at this one particular store. I have to remember not to go in there.

First was the not telling me about final sale. I thought that was poorly done to be handed my receipt and "oh, these are final purchase by the way." I don't like that, and maybe I might not have bought them in those circumstances. I called Coach CS as soon as I got home and asked them to please have their SAs inform clients before they start ringing up purchases. I did buy my blue Charlie knowing she was a final sale and scrutinized every inch of her before buying.

Second, I wanted a price adjustment on my dark berry Charlie from 40% to 50% with an additional 20% off. My home store said they'd do it for me without bringing the bag in but I wasn't in their area, so while I was buying the wristlet, I asked for that price adjustment and they wouldn't do it! Because I didn't have the bag with me. So then I explained that another store was willing to do so and consistency across their stores would be a good idea. I decided not to bother in the end. I love my bag and was willing to pay full price, so 40% off is great. I usually thrilled with 30% off.

Finally, it was such a long wait for my things to be wrapped. I would have taken them in a bag just with tissue, but then it turned out they were sitting in a shopping bag, on the counter. I'm not sure what would have happened had I not mentioned it to the manager but he did apologize for all the problems.

Lesson learned: I'm going to just shop at my home store where I know everyone or the flagship store after this.

This is such a gorgeous bag and charm. I'm actually toying with the beautiful rainbow Dino charm, it's so beautifully made. I can't wait to see your slippers!

After watching a flurry of Christmas movies, including "Pride, Prejudice and Mistletoe" and "Christmas at Pemberley Manor," I saw a delightful play, "Miss Bennet: Christmas at Pemberley" in town. It was about Mary Bennet and how she find romance and love with a new character during a family holiday at Pemberley. It was so well written, and everyone stayed true to themselves.

I carried my Louis Vuitton Eva.

Glad to hear you enjoyed the play!!! It sounded like a wonderful production. I really like your Christmas goodies above — those two jewel tone colors are just so pretty. I can’t stop looking at them, lol. Also how fun is it that you are going to see Donny and Marie in Vegas — they are the ultimate performers/showmen, you will have a great time. Congrats again and enjoy.

I love that Berry color and it looks great next to the blue as well!
Thanks, Alexa! I've been on a real colour kick lately, with my berry and blue purchases. They are a good complement to my mostly black and brown handbags. I love these deep jewel tones for the wet, soggy weather I'm expecting to see for the next two months here at a home. Coach has made some very nice things for this fall and holiday season. I never saw the ivy metallic for the Charlie 28 in-store but I bet that was a real beauty as well.

I can't stop looking at bags either, IM! I really want to take one out. But it's raining super hard today so I don't think I can carry either one, but tomorrow I'm going for Christmas lunch with my mother-in-law and then an afternoon tea with friends so I hope to be able to carry the Blue Charlie. I can give my Madison black gathered small bag a break. That one is my usual go-to.

Christmas at Pemberley was such a good play. I've read lots of sequels which is always amusing but I love live theatre and the costumes, sets and characters were really good. There was also a live Christmas tree and many references were made to it as being inspired by Queen Victoria and Prince Albert, who had the first real Christmas tree based on Albert's German traditions. DH and I have a "Christmas in the City" day every year as soon as we're on holiday. It changes every year, sometimes we see the gingerbread house displays in a local hotel, or decorated Christmas trees for charity. This year was the play and lunch, and we went with my sister and brother-in-law so that was a nice pre-Christmas treat.

I'm very excited to see Donny and Marie. Their singing voices are just amazing after all these years. I think they've been doing a Las Vegas show for awhile now?

I will have to plan my bags to take to Las Vegas. I never know if I should carry something glam (metallic bag?) or Louis Vuitton? Or stay under the radar and use something low-key? What would you do?

Loving the combo! Of course I always love black bags. Always classic.

I hope it stops raining tomorrow so you can use your newbie. Afternoon tea sounds fun — I have only done it once or twice ever, many many years ago, I have always wanted to do it with DD. Your “Christmas in the City” day is such a lovely idea — how fun to choose a different holiday activity each year, I should think about doing that maybe with a friend.

I am excited for you about your Vegas trip. We last went there maybe 6 years ago in the middle of the scorching hot summer. Good question about what bag to bring — I am probably not the best person to ask, lol, since I usually travel with a travel bag like a Bagallini. Maybe you can bring both a glam bag and an LV. A glam bag seems like a good choice for the show and nighttime outings. Then again, I prefer to carry a LV when shopping at LV except when I am in Hawaii, always using my Baggallini — it may not matter in Vegas since it caters to all tourists. Then again, low key is good too since you don’t want to be a target in a touristy place. I don’t think I am being very helpful :(. Well, at least you got plenty of time to decide.

Anything goes in Las Vegas. Some people will be super dressed up and others will be casual. You'll see all brands carried there. I doubt your LV will attract any unwanted attention since there will be others with Chanel and Hermes.

Good morning and Happy Holidays! It's been a lovely Christmas holiday so far with family. I'm enjoying having my kids at home and being together. We've attended their holiday concerts (they both sing in different choirs) and seen a Christmas play but more on that later.

Let's look at the goods then we can move on.

After an amazing Christmas concert by my Littles before school got out, I was browsing the LV website late at night and to my amazement the Toiletry Pouch 26 was available online. This particular piece has been sold out for ages. So I decided to buy it and I'm thrilled. It is gorgeous, monogram and made in France. I picked it up in store and it was beautifully boxed and wrapped in their Christmas ribbon. I had to laugh as I was texting my teaching partner after I bought the TP26 because she was also late night shopping for boots!

The beautiful flowers are from DH as part of my Christmas present...we're going to Las Vegas in the spring and there were tickets to see Donny and Marie in my stocking! As a child on the 70s, I have always loved the Osmonds and especially Donny in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat.

I have visited three Coach stores over the past two weeks due to circumstances, not necessarily planned, but I've been buying each time.

I bought my Charlie in dark berry with glitter edging for work this winter to rotate with my Speedy 30 B DE. Here she is with my Minnie charm and dark berry phone wallet with crystal appliqué. The gold looks perfect with the dark berry. It's quite festive.

Then I purchased the rainbow rose glitter wristlet (not sure if that's the right name) and the Charlie 28 in blue metallic in two different stores. Charlie is wearing my old pave C purse charm. I like the new crystal tearose charm but I can wait.

My closet is pretty full right now so time to stop. I'm enjoying a lot of what's in store at Coach right now but I find these sales trying to a certain extent when one is trying to do price adjustments, there's a sudden markdown, that kind of thing. And it's "final sale" here in Canada for anything purchased during the SAS and other holiday promotions or open sales, something I forgot when I bought the wristlet. I've already called customer service to tell them their SAs should inform clients of a final sale BEFORE a transaction is completed, not when they're handing over the bill and it's too late, as a general courtesy.

Wow loving all your beauties! You did good! I’m really loving the berry color - does it look as rich and saturated as it does in the Charlie pic?

Oh I love Eva! We had a production of Christmas at Pemberley but I had no one to go see it with [emoji23] Everyone turned me down, I know my BF would have went with me but I wanted to go with someone who’d be excited to see it haha

Vegas will be so fun! I’ve been once and I would love to go back and stay in Old Vegas in one of the old hotels of Fremont Street. Last time we stayed in an enormous penthouse just off The Strip as we were there with a few couples. It was incredible but I honestly enjoyed the grimy vibe in Old Vegas [emoji23] I felt like Elvis was going to drive around the corner in a big black Cadillac any minute and we’d go have prime rib at The Golden Nugget haha The Strip was fun but felt like Disney World but you can do anything and everything on The Strip. Shopping was great at Caesar’s. I also went to another mall but I can’t remember the name ... I was excited to go in the Diane Von Furstenberg store there. Years later and I still have regrets of turning my BF down when he offered to buy me DVF leather gloves [emoji22] They were beautiful!

You’ll see all bag brands carried in Vegas! I’d feel comfortable carrying LV for sure. Maybe a blingy clutch for evening! You’ll have to look good for Donny!
