Stunnng bag! Congrats!

My SA at my Outlet saved this one for me and it was gorgeous but they only had this one. As I was inspecting it, another customer was gushing about how much she loved it and was asking if they could locate one for her.... I thought about LT and her purple love so I told her she can have it, I loved it, especially the color but this customer was totally in love with it, I couldn’t deny her this love. Silly action, but it made my day to see her so happy!

What a sweet thing to do!

This makes perfect sense and I like your way of thinking. Now that I think of it, I wear much more colourful clothing in the spring and summer as well so looks like I’ll be getting even better use of my black bags this summer!

I’m getting tired of looking for bags to use exclusively for the summer. I’ve already got my peony LC, my Chalk Rogue 25 and a couple of MFF beater bags for the garden centre and the beach, and planning on a LV DA handbag purchase this year. By throwing in all my black bags I have more than what I need or can use.

I've always wanted a nice brightly colored bag for summer but i cannot do it, just cannot. I don't like them on me, i like them on others and on the shelf but since i am not a real color person with my clothes, subdued would be my best description, I like my bags to be equally quiet.

I'm not a frequent bag changer either. Usually a week or two, unless there's a special reason or sudden weather change!

I always "intend" too but often don't get that far, i am just busy and cannot take the time to enure everything gets switched out .. plus some bags i have don't really fit my thick winter gloves and it's still winter last i looked

Sounds like you’re getting to the point of being bag content. That’s a good feeling. I will always have, and love, my black bags. That’s one color I know I will never stop buying lol.

Funny part is until i got my MK Marley i hadn't owned any black bags! now i have several... i know why they are popular such a great base color and go with anything, any season.. hide dirt and transfer! but it is nice to have a bit of something else in the collection too.

I used to be more rigid about carrying black bags only in the summer and also about buying certain color bags and hardware (like I avoided brass and gold hardware whenever possible, only buying smooth leather etc). All that has changed in recent years perhaps due to getting older etc. Also I am still speed dating my bags so every bag (hence every color) gets carried regardless of time of year. Honestly now I would wear whatever I want whenever I want (maybe to the fashion police’s dismay). I also really prefer silver and nickel/ruthenium hardware above all else. (I also like black hardware but they are prone to chipping across many brands so that is a dealbreaker for me). But I am over that requirement and would choose gold if it looks pretty on the bag or there is no other option. I don’t really wear much jewelry except a few rings (all gold) so matching with jewelry is not an issue. So basically that is my long way of saying please feel free to wear whatever bag color and hardware without regards to the season if it goes with your outfit or if it suits your mood

I think we over time learn what is worth fussing about and what isn't.. i don't wear much jewelry other than my bracelets but only in warmer months i hate how they get caught up in my winter coat cuffs... they are all silver though..(charm bracelets, you know typical, Pandora, Troll etc..)

I really like gunmetal hardware too. Less shiny and it goes well with a lot of colors. Funny because I used to hate gold/brass hardware and would never buy a bag with it on there. I’ve since gotten over that lol. Too bad because it helped my budget. I’m still not big on lots of shiny gold hardware on a bag. Then again I used to only wear silver jewelry for a long time, but now I’m loving gold again. Sooo... I don’t have an aversion to either now. My credit card isn’t happy. Lol

LOL! I am not sure what official color my new wallet is? but i do like it.... black? i dunno have to look it up... My Grace bag has kinda a weathered gold which wears well ...

Nearly all my bags are either black or brown. But that’s Bc my wardrobe is almost exclusively black. I bought a dark green cardigan and DH thought it was weird. Haha the only place I actually venture out colorwise is my SLGs.
 I am the same with SLG's those i get colorful and patterned... i have fun basically, the bags neutral... i'd love a grey bag but then it is one of my fave colors lol....

Since we’re talking about bags and colors.....

What colors do you tend to be drawn to in handbags? Not necessarily that you own those colors, but what draws your attention.

Def black (think I established that lol) and rich vibrant colors. Esp blues and greens - cobalt, sapphire, turquoise, teal, emerald, kelly green.

Draws my attention? grey.. i'd love a grey bag, purple.. really want another purple bag again, green... i do own a Kelly green bag that i carried for like 2yrs straight.. i really still like it but she needs a cleanup, like a new liner... burgundy/Merlot that is another color i'd love to add in...

I actually never used to be drawn to black bags found them basic but after buying Marley i got over it and learned to appreciate the benefits of the color.

I used to be not drawn to black or brown bags. Now I love black bags. Slowly warming to brown bags but brown is still the last color I would pick tbh. I do have three brown/brownish bags.

Brown has to be the right shade, otherwise they look like the cheap vinyl bags i swear are always brown lol.... I do have three browns, one is MK called Peanut and the others are Coach but don't recall the specific names.
