Nearly all my bags are either black or brown. But that’s Bc my wardrobe is almost exclusively black. I bought a dark green cardigan and DH thought it was weird. Haha the only place I actually venture out colorwise is my SLGs.
Mine are mostly black (Coach), Brown (LV) with a handful of colours and patterned bags. Colourful SLGs are fun-party in your bag every day!

Since we’re talking about bags and colors.....

What colors do you tend to be drawn to in handbags? Not necessarily that you own those colors, but what draws your attention.

Def black (think I established that lol) and rich vibrant colors. Esp blues and greens - cobalt, sapphire, turquoise, teal, emerald, kelly green.
I like black bags the most. I think they are the most versatile, seasonless ;) and elegant all at once.

Then I love browns, especially Coach cognac, whiskey and mahogany, and LV monogram and DE.

I also love navy, a range of blues including turquoise and robin’s egg blue; pinks (can’t be salmon or too orange); creams and whites. All of this sounds like my wardrobe, mostly black with these colours.

Not sure where metallics fit in but they are awesome as well!

I agree — I also love seeing and hearing about others’ bags and bag preferences, etc. I feel especially comfortable talking about it here on this thread as everyone here is just very kind, supportive, helpful and understanding. I love how all these discussions expand my purse “horizons” (for lack of a better word).

I find it so fascinating to hear about the twists and turns along our handbag journeys. And I love all of our differences and feelings about handbag hardware! We could practically write a thesis with all the information we're gathering here.

I forgot about the black hardware. My floral canvas tote and unicorn charm have darker hardware, I noticed, so I'll have to be careful with them.

I like your suggestion to follow my outfit and mood. I see a time for my Dooney & Bourke Disney retro Satchel to be making an appearance soon!

I agree! It makes it more interesting. I see bags on tpf all the time that I love the look of, but know they will never work for my lifestyle. Good thing we can post pix and enjoy each others. [emoji3]

They've been fighting over the photo spread all weekend! Let's just say Stick was not happy to see another inanimate object in his house when he returned from the Olympics. He was told to find another place to live if he didn't like it. She stays!

Lol since Stick got to reveal the mercer baby, it’s really only fair the mini LT get the car. (Sorry Stick) lol

I end up taking black bags home, but the colors that really draw my eyes are greens (esp dark/hunter shades) reds (oxblood, wine, and blue toned reds), dark purples or lavenders and blues.

Just caught up on this thread. I haven't been getting any notifications from any thread all day today.
So this is really not fair how some people can see deletes and some can't. I saw some Mercer's. Can't recall if I saw the crossbody clutch though. It's probably too late and sold out by now. Like I need to spend money. [emoji849]

Good news, I sold two bags! Bad news is, it only happens after I buy something. [emoji44][emoji19]

Congrats on the sales! yeah, kinda silly some can see and others cannot.. such nonsense. I never buy online anyways.

Uh oh. I got a Chalk Margot a few weeks ago and haven't used it yet. It's my first almost white bag. It's going to be my science experiment to see if I can handle a light colored bag. I got one in sea green that's also really light. Very bold for me! Ha! I can wear red, black, bright pink...but white is daring!

I think it depends on what you wear, she mucked her's up with you guessed it dark denim!
