That looks so happy! Thanks ladies. Sorry for the sad posts.
Hey look at my new bedding I bought the other day. I needed something colorful and fresh looking in my bedroom. Isn't this a cute print? View attachment 3853961

Isn't that him in your avatar? That's so sad. My golden retriever lived to be 14. It was rough at the end. He had arthritis and barked a lot at night, possibly because he was in pain. That was years ago and I still cry when I think about him. He had a good life.
Awww. Sweet looking guy.Thought I’d add a wee bit of cute to the thread, we had thanksgiving on the 9th gorgeous day
He’s the little man

LOLHe is cute but looks like he is more appropriate for my DD. Or I would go to jail if I am into him.
So sorry for your loss. He was adorable.I lost my beloved French Bulldog, Wolfgang just three months ago. He would have been 9 years old last week. It was unexpected, catastrophic and quick. Not to mention devastating.
Didn't mean to highjack the thread...I've never posted here but it's amusing to read (wink) and todays posts about losing our fur kids...well, I just couldn't resist.View attachment 3854115
He was quite a hunk of burning love. lol
I miss my sweet boy so much.
Lol as long as he is legal, you are allowed to be a dirty old lady. I try not to ogle anyone who is more than 15 years younger than I. [emoji13]LOL
I was going to say "that's more like it..."
Can I still?
I posted the above before I read all these sweet (and sad pet) posts. Isn't it amazing and awesome how much joy pets bring to our lives? Even the memories of them make us smile thru the tears. I'm convinced that any woman with teenagers needs a dog cause a dog is always happy to see you and thinks you are brilliant (even when your kids don't)LOL

I love that pattern! I almost want one in the Bennet style. Almost. Lol. [emoji13]I posted the above before I read all these sweet (and sad pet) posts. Whopping topic change: This afternoon I ended up exchanging that black flower embroidered Lexy I was obsessing over for this one. (My daughter gave the embroidered one a thumbs down...She's 27 and always right about that stuff for me. (Not in an obnoxious way. She just knows my style really well) This is going to be a good choice. It's extremely light and I think I'll enjoy the material. Thanks for all your comments and encouragement as I dithered back and forth on my decision. I'm having so much fun here! View attachment 3854418
I totally get it. I have a Betta fish now too. Not a whole lot of interactions there. Lol. But if something happens to him and I cry, I am getting pet rocks next. Haha! [emoji23]I am so sad to hear these stories of your beloved pets. I would love to get a dog one day. I am sure they bring so much joy and happiness to our lives but the devastation at their passing overwhelms me.
How about micro fleece? That one my DH likes.Mine is the same way! Only cotton. He doesn’t even like jersey sheets. [emoji849]

Oh man - they look so pretty and comfy but I'm hot flashing often right now, I'd end up sleeping naked and on the floor if I tried to use those lovely velvet ones. I'm a 100% cotton percale girl. Anything else has me sleeping in puddles. How about micro fleece? That one my DH likes.
I've always admired that fabric! It's very classic. Your bag will be nice and light to carry.I posted the above before I read all these sweet (and sad pet) posts.
