Yeah I don’t even go into that forum except the odd time to admire ... it’s a private sale place locally based so it’s not from the sort they would anyways ...

It may very well be from the papillon bag I am seeing through my research it did come with that, honestly zero clue

Truthfully it was LV and looked like something I could use

This is a lovely piece! How much are you able to fit inside?

I'd be devastated too. Yup I'm crying already reading this. Frosty wanted to say goodbye before leaving. Pets are the first kids we have before we have actual kids. I am going to have a terrible time when I lose her. She is my first dog I got when I moved in 2003. Then we adopted another mutt 2 yrs younger than her in 2006 from our SIL. And he is part of my autistic son's bed time routine. He has to have him on his bed by his feet. But my son does not want my girl dog in his room at all! DH and I are both scared every day to wake up and find one of the dogs dead.

That's so sad. My golden retriever lived to be 14. It was rough at the end. He had arthritis and barked a lot at night, possibly because he was in pain. That was years ago and I still cry when I think about him. He had a good life.

I am so sad to hear these stories of your beloved pets. I would love to get a dog one day. I am sure they bring so much joy and happiness to our lives but the devastation at their passing overwhelms me.

A lot of TPFers use non-alcoholic unscented baby wipes on their canvas. Seems safe enough. I haven’t done it though. I bet just some damp cloth should clean it ok.
@HesitantShopper I use the non-alcoholic, unscented baby wipes on the LV canvas. I'm always amazed at how much dirt comes off, even on the body of the bag which I really don't touch. But I really notice it on small pieces like my key cles and agendas which I handle a lot. I do this every time I put a bag away for the next few weeks/months.

A couple of times a year I still just wipe the leather with a slightly damp cloth, even on a piece like yours which already has patina, and the next day, gently polish the leather with a clean linen cloth. I find it just helps to bring a shine to the leather.

I lost my beloved French Bulldog, Wolfgang just three months ago. He would have been 9 years old last week. It was unexpected, catastrophic and quick. Not to mention devastating.
Didn't mean to highjack the thread...I've never posted here but it's amusing to read (wink) and todays posts about losing our fur kids...well, I just couldn't resist.View attachment 3854115
He was quite a hunk of burning love. lol
I miss my sweet boy so much.
What a handsome lad! I'm so sorry about Wolfgang's passing.
