Yes, whateve, pretty much sunbathing but also wiping down the vachetta. I used this method successfully on my Speedy 30 monogram when I first bought it in 2014. I let it sit for a few days in the sunshine, an hour at a time. Then I wiped down the vachetta with a lightly dampened linen towel (a white sock is used in the patina champ thread). The next day I "polished" the leather with my linen towel. I had a couple of raindrops fall on my bag plus my last water bottle spill but my Speedy recovered just fine.

Sounds good. I have a Coach bag with vachetta handles. Maybe I should do this with it.

No, but I keep fondling it, and I had the 25% off Simon Mall discount but decided to use it on Dr. Doodle. I’m hoping it’s still around for the holidays so I can justify buying it then. I know it’s very limited inventory at Coach but they are still some at some of the department stores, keeping my fingers crossed.
