what's everyone's thoughts on purseonfleek's latest Hermes drama (again!)?
To save some people time and views…she ordered an Evelyne from the UK online store and had it shipped to her through a package forwarding company. The Evelyne came with mismatched hardware between the bag and the strap (gold vs palladium) she then complains for many minutes that the UK wants her to return the bag to the UK in order to do the return. She feels that she shouldn’t have to do that much work for the return. She then insists that they just send her a new strap for free. She is furious that they wouldn’t and goes on and on about how much money H makes and yet can’t sacrifice a free strap. Eventually they allow her to ship it to the Bond St store in London if she pays the import taxes on it, if there are any. She ends up reselling the bag instead.

(Probably because she’s allegedly banned from shopping H herself…) The Evelyne came with mismatched hardware between the bag and the strap (gold vs palladium) she then complains for many minutes that the UK wants her to return the bag to the UK in order to do the return. Wow. I didn't know H can ship through a forwarding company. I read the website and it was stated that this is not possible. Something new to me.

Really? I went and checked this morning, and they had nice (for the US) bags available for purchase. An Evelyne TPM in Noir, Elan Della Cavalleria in Craie, etc.

Funny how H drama always manages to find her.

I’d like to hear more about the company/service that received the bag on her behalf and shipped it to her. seems like a hassle, honestly. and were they not an option for the shipping back to H?

while the strap hardware not matching is absolutely unacceptable (I’d be furious), since Hermes did not originally ship the bag to her, I don’t see why they would go the lengths shes expecting for it to be sent back.

Ridiculous... And I thought she was done with hermes? 🤣

Oh well I'm sure she loves the drama cos it makes for more content. 😒

Me too on the non matching hardware.

I am curious about the person who bought the bag with mismatched hardware. She is ok with it? Or thought that this is the new ethereum hardware? :girlsigh:

She claims the buyer was happy because she got a good price since she bought it for less than what pof paid and pof paid the Uk price which was already less than the local AU price. I just think it’s funny that she chose to solve another H “problem” by reselling, which is what got her in trouble with H to begin with!

Indeed! Her actions certainly don't match what she says.. like continuing to shop at Hermes after she continuously talks about how much she hates the brand/service!

I wonder if the "good price" she sold it for ended up being even less than what she would have gotten even if she paid duties on the bag had she sent it back to the UK.. I can't imagine anyone willing to pay too much for a bag with mismatched hardware...

That actually happened a while back this happened. I think she just brought it up again because she just rebought a Bleu Nuit Evie. While i'd be annoyed at the mistake, I wonder why sending it back to them would have turned into such a problem? Anyhow...yes it was sold with disclose of the mismatched HW, I remember seeing her IG post at the time.
