I watched the video where he talked about this and I felt so bad. He had basically been told that exotic mini Kelly’s only go to furniture clients, so he bought a chair only to be told he needed to by way more for multiple homes!!
And after paying an astronomical shipping fee, I doubt returning said uncomfortable chair was an option. He's way more savvy now.

I have watched a few videos and seen her ig and i don’t know about her being nice and friendly but imo something is very off about a person who needs to buy that much stuff regardless of wealth. It’s the same with Jamie chua and anyone else who has hundreds and hundreds of bags in the same style but different colors. Perhaps it’s like a hobby for them but golly there are so many better things to spend money and time on. That’s just my opinion.

Edit: Screen shots of her collections below. It’s a lot of stuff. This to me gives hoarding vibes and compensating for something. I don’t know what but thank God it’s not animals.

Also as a luxury community while we can say oh that’s a nice bag or congrats on that acquisition we need to stop normalizing this level of shopping because I’m sorry but this is NOT normal. People are so crazy about constantly spending money and flexing today. It’s mostly only on social media we see these things.
No idea who this person is but yuck, spend some money on a custom closet, this looks like a makeshift Home Depot garage setup.

Big upcoming vlog sale was announced

I think Meredith thought since she was getting a vip appointment and it’s Paris that maybe she was getting a bag without prespend. So when the sa was showing her other stuff like rtw and watches, she was annoyed? And maybe that looked like she was arrogant or high maintence to the sa? She was probably tired from the jet lag and long haul flight and just wanted the bag and didn’t think she needed to “shop”?
Curiosity got the better of me and I went to watch Meredith’s videos.

She has a great smallish collection of 7 Hermes bags - B25 x 3 - barenia, ostrich, picnic, K25 x 1, Pico x 2 and 1 x MK. That’s hardly what most seasoned H collectors would describe as VIP.

Don’t get me wrong. This is not a case of sour grapes from me. I love Meredith’s collection. She probably has a more expansive collection of Hermes RTW, FJ, watches etc that we aren’t seeing. I’m just pointing out that she perhaps didn’t know what to expect in terms of spend during a VIP appointment in Paris.

This lady is a hoarder. If it wasn’t luxury items we would be quick to accuse her of having some type of hoarding problem but because it’s designer handbags and shoes it’s normalized 🤷‍♀️

What an excellent point! It seems like there is some level of mental health and or emotional issues and possibly addiction tied into this with some h influencers bc they sometimes say I feel guilty or I shouldn’t have spent this much or I overspent or they’re reselling bags they like or doing large vlog sales. Here’s an example of an h youtuber who admits overspending. This one looks to be constantly shopping at H and at several different boutiques. What’s most interesting is her level of shopping looks even more out of control after this video. IMG_6253.png

Wow. Kuddos to her for being honest and say she cannot afford her spending. That’s not good that the spending habits did not improve after she called herself out for overspending, though. I always assumed these influencers with the authentic items come from very wealthy backgrounds and didn’t have any issues spending a couple hundred thousand+ on shopping.

Again, I think it’s an addiction to having something someone else can’t get. I don’t think they come from a wealthy background, I feel it may be the opposite. They came from little and now have a way, and in some cases not the means, but a credit card that can buy them into what they perceive as the popular group. And social media is now the platform that gives them the place to show off. A lot of influencers come off as little people who need to be seen by other little people. I totally understand wanting to have a B or K, but the need to have multiple of the same in different colors to put them on display behind you while you talk about spending tens of thousands of dollars makes them trophies. IMHO.
