Meredith takes some time to grow on you. I didn’t like her when she first started. I tune in mostly to her Hermes content just to see the eye candy but she’s gotten better with time. More relaxed. But she comes off as more of a collector rather than truly a bag enthusiast imo. Almost feels like she’s buying for buyings sake.

I think she was a bit off on her Paris trip. She came off as a bit high maintenance. Maybe she is normally high maintenance but I don’t watch her enough to know.

I also feel like she's just buying to buy and to buy status with the brands. She seems to really want everyone to know how important she is to the brands and VIP, but then, it doesn't appear that she spends money on any other aspect of life. I wish she'd just focus on the bags and not on her status at the brands as a customer.

I was very curious what really went on there at Paris FSH that Dayle had to rescue a VIP appointment. Intriguing.

I think Meredith thought since she was getting a vip appointment and it’s Paris that maybe she was getting a bag without prespend. So when the sa was showing her other stuff like rtw and watches, she was annoyed? And maybe that looked like she was arrogant or high maintence to the sa? She was probably tired from the jet lag and long haul flight and just wanted the bag and didn’t think she needed to “shop”?

Yes - clear disconnect between what the appointment was and what she thought it would be focused on - her home store should have told her what the vip appt meant.

What I found interesting is that she started by telling us how stressed and out of her mind she was and then didn’t understand why she rubbed the sa the wrong way and that she was acting “normal.” People are awfully lacking in self awareness! Either you’re losing your mind or you’re normal.

True, Meredith probably was just focused on her wish list thinking she'd just be discussing that and then see what was available etc. and wasn't expecting to have t start going around and picking up other things before "the talk". Dayle knows how to schmooze so she helped keep it moving lol. Probs why the SA ended up liking her more and she got offered her birkin without appointment/spend etc.

I didn't know how a VIP appointment works (never done it 😁), but if regular people's leather appointments can go straight to the bags, then wouldn't a VIP also?

I have the impression everyone who knows Meredith personally absolutely loves her, so I try to keep an open mind. But I can't help thinking there was something beyond the miscommunication about the appointment.

Do you all find her YouTube videos helpful and \ or entertaining?

I’m curious too as to how the leather appointments vs VIP appointments works. I hope someone can share some insight.

Also, I don’t know Meredith, but would like to see her content. Can someone share her YouTube name?
