Influencers and Hermes

Influencers, counterfeiters, and Hermés SAs are ruining the brand. Have been done with the brand for the past 7 or so years. No more.
I feel this. I'm still a sucker and shopping because I am new to Hermes still, but it really is a cumulation of everything making the brand exhausting. So many fakes. So many influencer. So many hoops to jump through. I forgot how fun and easy luxury is supposed to be until shopping at another brand.

@A.Ali Erica is roasting the roadmap to nowhere, someone else words, not mine
Erica and Tania we’re both selling pointers on how to score from Hermès in their subscriptions on ig . It’s very hypocritical for Erica to target Tania ,and she was doing the same thing “scamming people” out of their hard earned money for hermes tips and lies . I really dislike this mean girl behavior online to target someone and yourself was doing the same thing ?

I am gps mentioned he felt kind of forced to buy Hermes furniture and he has bought a chair & a nightstand
How can an SA force you to pay for an item ? Does I am gps not have a backbone? Has anyone else experienced this modern bullying behavior from Hermes SA ? I live in usa and never experienced a SA forcing me to buy an item that i wasn’t happy/undecided about. I’m mind blown about these stories!

He wasn't forced, but he was suggested to buy to obtain whatever bag he wanted.

If you haven't experienced that same sales tactic of suggesting to spend in a certain area or 'to work towards', that's fantastic. However, most have as anectodal story after story on this board suggests. I'm more blown away by people still claiming this is not happening and they 'only buy what they love' and magically get offered bags.

The latest Influencer trend on Tik Tok is saying Orans are the new "ick". The warp speed trend cycle on social media is so ridiculous. It almost never reflects real life, and is always the same people that have been pushing said item, that declares it "over" 5 minutes later. Then not to be seen as behind, the rest of their influencer friends follow suit. I cannot wait until Hermès in general is an " Ick" for them. This over consumption influencer era has to stop, its damaging for all involved. And I love shopping and being influenced!
