What's going on with IG lately? I'm losing accounts that I have followed for years. A lot of luxury content is being taken down even it's your own purchase. Influencers are getting suspended or shadow-banned.
I think H is cracking down, especially on posting pictures they own, like product images from their website.
That's interesting, thanks. Lots of accounts that are posting their own stuff are getting taken down, like pintsizedss and styledbymej also had this happen but got her acct back. BonBon was shut down but is on a new account. Resellers and sellers using H website images to sell their stuff are still standing. It doesn't seem fair. I wonder how this is going to impact influencers and the luxury space going forward if the companies are being so stringent.
I’m guessing it’s slowly rippling through and we will see more accounts banned and posts removed. I had some of my own posts taken down that had website product images in them for “trademark/ copy write infringement” over several days. Hopefully the resellers get treated equally.
I guess they heard our moaning about overexposed.
Thanks for sharing this. I watched it last night and it was interesting. My new house just finished and I was waiting for it before I start my "Hermes journey" with home bits and bobs. I've got a list from previous recos here when I asked. Took us a year to finish the home and I didn't splurge on stuff almost all year to prepare for the Hermes splurge 🤣 This makes me nervous lol I don't want to feel upset or sad if I'm not offered "the bag" when I feel ready for it. I think I have to just manage my expectations from now lol
I was following the account called "queenofdiamonds" and her posts get deleted and her account got taken down several times now. To be fair, I think she purchases too much items on a weekly basis so I guess maybe it got flagged?
